It's sad because High Moon PLANNED to make more games to connect better with Transformers Prime, but Activision forced them to help with CoD every god damn year.
Well, at least after 2022 there will be no more yearly CoDs (Activision said that) so there is a chance for High Moon. AND there is a chance for more other Transformers games, because Hasbro is creating it's own game studio.
There is no more chance for cybertron games though, activison lost the rights to make transformers games and they own high moon studios. Unless they sold high moon and hasbro decided they wanted to go back to the prime timeline then there is literally no chance for another cybertron game

What I hated about FOC honestly is just the fact that we don't have those teams with 3 characters, where u can pick up one of em and feel the gameplay from different perspectives.
Yeah this is true. I liked the variety between playable characters though, like Jazz's grappling. And Gimlock is totally inspired by Warhammer Space Marine, the sheer imposing weight when he simply walked, the melee style, the swarms of enemies you tore through, very much reminded me of playing the Space Marine.

Oh dude, I miss Transformers 2, that was a great game that had great dlcs, I loved playing as Jazz alongside the G1 characters
I never got to buy the dlc but it was epic, I can only imagine what more they could've made if the dev company hadn't gone bankrupt

I love devastation it’s definitely my favorite right next to the cybertron games. My favorite load-out is Optimus with the war hammer and sniper rifle.

I’m still sad we never got a sequel to devastation, it would have been so cool to have a game were nova prime is the main villain, and you get to play as the decepticons and other autobots.

I forgot how good the destruction was in revenge of the fallen, really made you feel huge. Its understandable though why that wouldn't apply on cybertron where everythings designed for the transformers.
For me the best multiplayer was the ROTF game. The ability to climb buildings, Dodging enemy attacks, the flexibility between the robot and car modes like the power jumps for ground players and hovering capabilities for flying players, the unique special abilities and range weapons of each player as well as the Melee capabilities that didn't stop at a single punch like (DOTM, WFC, FOC) but actually consisted of several unique combinations like chain attacks, charged attacks, ground pounds, etc. made this game incredibly versatile, chalenging and fun to play
I think people miss the point that the Cybertron games are shooters, like CoD or Halo, they are not Melee combat games.

Devastation was probably my favourite of the games. Seeing G1 transformers in game brought back a lot of memories. Sad we never got a second G1 game.

Jeez Dark Spark stands out even when compared to FOC of which it steals all its assets from and weirdly textures them. Aside from that WFC/FOC, ROTF and Devastation are all banger games definitely glad got to experience their multiplayer modes well besides devastation of course. WFC as a whole it’s my absolute favorite like with atmosphere, story, characters, design and it had an extremely fun multiplayer when it was active and not full of hackers
That's not dark spark. It's actually fall of cybertron. He got the name wrong. Rise of the dark spark is the age of extinction tie in game
I’m aware what dark spark is but literally at the start of the video that’s literally rise of the dark spark I can tell because of the UI and brighter tones FOC has a dark pallet and different UI
@@97infinite It is Dark Spark, it haves two story lines - one that is after WFC but before FOC, and one that is based on AoE. So he got the name right.
@@97infinite the difference between Rotds and FoC is very big when you take things like the lighting, colour and UI into account. Arbiter is right here.

It sucks cause they weren’t underrated by Transformers fans themselves. We freaking loved them. It’s just that the general population that aren’t fans never paid enough attention to them so they probably didn’t make tons of money.

I wish they kept making games like transformers revenge of fallen the mechanics were great and was fun all around well in my opinion
War for cybertron environments looked insane, the lighting really added to the atmosphere too, they really pushed the xbox 360 with that one and it holds up
Transformers 2 was crap, but the T2 game was pretty cool.
That Movie was just awful The game was great tho too bad The Twins weren't end it I would have Loved two had Kill those Two in the Decepticon Campaign

ROTF definitely felt like the best one, the gameplay in multiplayer felt so smooth and good, if there were lobbies with different selection of bots like (only one type of bot per team) it would've been more better since the Megatron / Optimus spam was real.
Sideways, Starscream and Breakaway were my favourites, so much potential for alot of plays if there is diversity (not like a team having 3-4 megatrons using their fusion cannons lol)
I spammed long haul cause his rounds bounced off surfaces and any time anybody tried to melee I would switch to a flame thrower. Just jumping and shooting
Overall for me wfc and foc are the best story wised, rotf is the best movie based game, and devastation is the best at gameplay

Transformers the game was the best for me imo, brilliant missions, free roam and destruction. Need that again
TF2 was a unique take for a Transformers game. As it really had the action of the live version of the series, except the pacing and the gameplay just pushed it to 11. The downside is that the missions are really lame and could be better. The multiplayer was amazing though.
Now Devastation is literally just MGRR x Transformers. Although Devastation has more stat checking since you have to upgrade and reroll stats for your weapons (weird). Aside from that, the combat is top notch.
devastation was so much fun, the combat was very different from any other transformers game we have ever gotten previously, and the soundtrack made it all the more better
I loved ROTF mainly bc the pvp and also how cool transforming was. Transforming into a jump was so satisfying
WFC and FOC only. Both had so much potential that made us replay them so much.

I think the best movie Transformers game was the first one, I’ve played it a billion times. Dark of the Moon was also awesome. But nothing beats Fall of Cybertron!
Devastation will still be my personal favourite cuz: I love G1, it has amazing fighting system, it has amazing soundtrack and I just love cellshading artstyle
many people believe FoC was the best game, but i had the best time on WFC. the mods, community, gameplay, escalation, and even campaign. it made a big part of my childhood.
For me, transformers devastation was the best because it was the most unique in terms of game design and mechanics. Cybertron games were amazing but felt too familiar for me with other TPS games around the time period
Puglord didn't really care for ROTF in comparison to the other three games here. Maps felt too small, you have to hold down a trigger to be in vehicle form and you can't strafe, couldn't really get into the campaign all that much, and got it too late to really enjoy the multi-player mode (everyone in the comments are saying the multi-player was fun but Puglord didn't have the chance to enjoy it). The other three were amazing in comparison, although Puglord also wasn't able to enjoy the multi-player much for WFC but definitely enjoyed FOC multi. And Devastion was (for being a hack and slash with about 6 difficulties) definitely seemed the most challenging in terms of how often/quickly you could die. Other than that, Puglord wishes they continued Devastation and remastered both WFC and FOC, would love it if company's could do that.
Mad these aren't available on Steam. The multiplayer in this game was some of the funnest I've played in a while

Devastation was fun too and had a rockin ost! It was like playing a episode of the old g1 show! Dark Spark was my favorite. Optimus' Cybertronian design was better than the others, not to mention playing as a giant metal fire-breathing T-rex. I just wish I could have played with the skins so I had Earth form Optimus, Bumblebee and Grimlock on Cybertron

WFC and FOC were a visual treat, but the gameplay kinda bland. RoTF have the best gameplay for me but the world is boring and empty. those games combined would be the best Transformers game ever.
I honestly got bored and sleepy at times playing WFC and FOC. Graphics and gameplay are bland compared to Devastation. Give WFC and FOC Devastation's graphics and melee and it'll be the best Transformers game(s) ever.
WFC (War For Cybertron), FOC (Fall Of Cybertron) & TFD (Transformers devastation) is just the definiton of perfection

TF2 is the best movie based TF game it’s honestly in my opinion up in the top with FOC, WFC, and Devastation. 1 FOC, 2 WFC, 3 Devastation, 4 TF2, 5 TF3, 6 TF1, 7 Dark Spark. Those are the only ones I’ve played.

Spoiler Story
Pardon my English. I usually speak French.
The story is about something called the Dark Spark which is the opposite of the Matrix of Leadership (it brings chaos).
The story is divided into two parts : 1 on Cybertron and 1 on Earth.
(To be clear, there are two Optimus or Bumblebee, the one on Cybertron and the one on Earth, precisely Age of Extinction one).
I don't really remember the story but they're just fighting on Cybertron like always. At a moment Optimus and Megatron get into a 1v1. Optimus used the Matrix and Megatron the Dark Spark. They each start using the power of the Matrix and of the Dark Spark and Optimus win. Then, the Dark Spark is propulsed in the space.
Here starts the part 2 (on Earth).
Lockdown takes possession of the Dark Spark and the Autobots try to stop him.
At the end, Optimus and Lockdown get into a 1v1 and Optimus win. End of the story.
After the story, there is a short scene of Cybertron Optimus on Earth looking for the Dark Spark.
I personally think it's a good game but i have never played the other Transformers games and only watched videos so i'm not able to tell if it's really good or better than the others.
But people say it's garbage.
DO NOT waste your time on it. It was not done by high moon, and the game was god awful.
its not made by high moon like the other Cybertron games but some developer that made shitty free2play games and clumsily tried to connect the Cybertron games with Bays garbage movies, It's not good, I'd rather play an unpatched version of Fallout 76
It's been a year since I watched Penguinz0's video on Activision Blizzard and Looking at Fall of Cybertron, it hurts me dearly that the game was a masterpiece and it had to be ruined because of Bobby Kodick

I go way back playing these games. I never played Transformers: Devastation before, though. But if I were to enjoy a great Transformers game, I'd choose FOC. Second being ROTF. 👍

I love this version of the revenge of the fallen game but for some reason, I like the ps2 version more because of the nostalgia of playing it there. Also my most favorite game of all time is war for cybertron over fall of cybertron because it did a better job at making you feel like you're at war than fall of cybertron and as someone born in early 2000 my parents had me and my sisters always listen to or watch 80s and 90s music, shows and cartoons so I we mentally grew up in in the 80s and 90s that's why I would have to put devastation as number 2 after wfc because I love g1 series very much
