  • In the German city of Schwerin, a daycare center called "nidulus" offers childcare 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It caters to parents who are doctors, nurses, security workers, chefs - anyone who works odd hours and needs reliable childcare.

    DAMN. Did anybody pay enough attention to the video?This daycare is for working parents ONLY!!!Not like they are gonna drop their kids to go party!They MUST work night shifts for a living!Not all parents out there enjoy the benefits of having "normal" working hours ( Monday to Friday 9:00 - 18:00) There are nurses, doctors, police,etc. who dont have any other options. Furthermore, they are asked for a copy of they work shift in order to have their children overnight there...

      If one parent could earn a living wage in this or any country, at least one parent could actually raise and get to know the children they decided to have

      I think this is a brilliant idea and much needed for parents who are in professions that call for non-traditional business hours. As a parent who has such job it does not mean I love my kids any less, or, I am trying to pawn them off on anyone else. It means by someone taking care of my loved ones I am able to help look after yours. Overall, win-win.

    lol this would've been torture for my sisters and me cause we all hated kindergarten
    but it's a good solution... altough I hope that in the future there'll be a way for parents (who obviously wanted to have kids) to not have to work all the time and still get enough money to live a nice life

      Work all the time? These are essential services, they need night coverage. Its not about money, its about having parents be included in the pool they can draw from for people for vital jobs.

      @@ashleyashleym2969 idk what you mean by that ... What are essential services, why is it important that they need night coverage, what pool do parents need to be in? And i don't get the last part either
      Maybe I'm just tired it maybe it's cause i haven't watched the video since 3 years ago so would be cool if you could get into detail
      Also i still agree with my comment... Parents should be able to fully focus on their kids are they obviously made the life choice to take care of them

    I feel like children should be at home with their parents at night. I do understand parents have to work but I think parents should make more sacrifices for their child. I would not want to leave my child in daycare for 24 hours, and I would not want to be a child that is in a cold center for 24 hours. The mother got off and she could not pick her son up. I don't agree with that, but oh well. I have worked in child care for years so I know parents have to work, but there should be a line drawn.

    Children should be at home with their parents at night. I understand the reason behind this but it’s not good for their development and relationship with parents

  • @kayleigh1991
    @kayleigh1991 Před 8 lety +24

    I really don't like this :/ A child should be with their parents for the majority of the time. You're the parent, not the child care workers. You shouldn't palm your kids off like this. If you work odd hours and can't take care your children then don't bloody have them.
