    Amazing how I'm still learning new aspects of this wonderful game. It's great how the dev's make such an open ended game with such easy and functional mod support. I wonder how FS22 can top all of the functionality we've collectively created in FS19. The workshop tab is wonderful, having to get out, unhook, adjust, etc drives me nuts in the vanilla game.

    I play FS22 on PC. I have over 150 mods loaded in my game. I had to use the game log file and an XML editor, but all work and elevated my game to a new level. I also added music in the music folder with parody commercials from GTA5 to make it more like my own radio station. I think I'm going to record some of my own commercial spoofs. Love this game. So looking onward to the PV Mod video to cap off this excellent tutorial series. I have just received two 10.4” tablets that are now waiting on desk mounting brackets, ready to run the additional cab monitor Mod. My favorite part/hack about the Store Deliveries mod is that when I am doing contracts and I need to borrow the equipment (if I do not have my own or they are also in use), that if I go to the field where the contract is, I set the store to deliver there, then I click borrow items on the contract then the store will auto delivers the vehicles and equipment right to that field and I think it does not charge delivery fees when borrowing items for contracts. This saves so much time so I do not have to drive all the vehicles needed for job to the field. Especially on big maps. (even though I do use and love FollowMe all the time except for this).

  • @pixelfarm154

    Turning on the "no HUD mode" in dev controls also enables the shortcut "O" for toggling the hud. So there is one more click the first time you enable it but then you are free to use "O" for toggling it.

    Great list probably use 3/4s of the list. Lumberjack is a must especially when you log a lot. So far the finicky control of logging eq and FS19s poor controller support on PC make it more productive (it’s also magic when your hired help parks your expensive eq in stupidly impossible places). I’m curious as to how you map your keys with all those mods. It seems I get conflicts with some like auto drive, enhanced vehicle, course play....I haven’t narrowed them down yet but maybe somebody has worked out a mapping that works.

  • @duplicitouskendoll9402
    @duplicitouskendoll9402 Před 3 lety +7

    Glad I found this video - I picked up FS19 in a sale last week and have just started binging the game. I'm trying to play as close to the base game as possible and a lot of the mods seem too 'cheaty' for my liking, but a good QoL mod is fair game. The workshop tabber is so simple yet so obviously needed and the lumberjack mod means I won't have to slowly drive a skid loader half way accross the map to grind a stump any more - that was fun the first few times, then it gets old real fast. Hopefully the bulk buy works for animals too - had to buy 400 chickens one-by-one the other day and that sucked balls! What map are you using to get that English countryside look? I need that for my virtual Clarkson's Farm!

    I highly suggest a mod called Less Engine Brakeforce. It adds more roll to your vehicle when not putting your foot down on the gas meaning your vehicle will roll rather than stop quickly as it does with the normal mechanics. You'll roll down hills when you let off the gas rather than somehow stopping on spot and it just makes the stop and go feel smoother imo. Just a small little QOL mod.

    • @eddiewinehosen6665
      @eddiewinehosen6665 Před 3 lety

      @@David-xl8zf It's awesome. Once you've plotted a course you can save it and use it again, also allows you to run several rigs on the same field at once. I've used 5 tractors to first plow, then cultivate and finally sow at the same time. And at harvest I had 3 combines harvesting as well as 5 tractors with loading wagons emptying the combines and when full driving off to drop the load into a silo. It takes some setting up but when done it's like hiring workers that are true smart AI. You can have massive operations running fully automated while you tend to your animals etc. And since you can save courses once you've done the setting up one time, next time you just load the saved course and send the vehicles away. And if anything hits a snafu it gives you an onscreen warning and when you click it it sends you right to that vehicle.

    is anyone or Sir you know any mod that shows you as you spray fertilizer, and as you seed the fields the path you been?
    on the mini map
    Like how the map shows you when you press the soil filters etc? So you can see what you have missed, or vehicle is out of line

    I didn't understand the part "I install these mods on every game". You just install the mods once and choose which ones you want to enable just before starting any save.
    And you need a mod manager.
    Again, FS19 has a mod picker screen just before loading. I am probably missing something here.
    Otherwise, a few of these I was missing, added to my collection.

    • @TheFarmSimGuy
      @TheFarmSimGuy  Před 3 lety +1

      No you don’t need a mod manager, but I use one, and what I’m basically saying is every map I play on I have these 25 mods installed without fail 👍 just make sure the boxes are ticked before you load your save game
