I'm really grateful you shared the failings because I'm looking at setting up something similar, and now I know some additional considerations to keep in mind. So so very true! Sadly CZcams and a majority of the viewer base doesn't really push tank update videos. They get very little traction but they are quite an important component in the journey of an aquarium. Set up is easy what happens after is the really interseting part!
I feel ya! I stuffed up my scape and my moss is everywhere algae and everything’s falling apart haha. 🎉 ima actually looking forward to rescaping, but I have sensitive fish and neverous about the move

On a separate note, your channel has grown to become one of my favorites in the hobby right there with MD fish tanks and MJ aquascaping. Although I enjoy your composition more, from the music choice to the cinematography, your channel is truly an inspiration and a treat. (it's only a matter of time until it blows up)
Love it, every tank I’ve setup as filterless or with a “different” style of adding a pump I’ve learned so much. It really is well worth the time spent in future experience
I'm excited to see what you do with the tank! It was a beautiful scape but I think functionality is far more important than aesthetics, especially in the aquarium hobby

Useful tip i've learnt: When removing substrate use a dustpan to scoop it up. Makes things a lot quicker especially if it's a bigger sized aquarium.
