    Try Greencure on the white mold . It’s probably powdery mildew . Greencure worked on some for me to get rid of it . But I tossed many of them from paranoia . Always remove the leaves infected with the white mold after spraying with Greencure. Put them in a ziplock bag and throw those leaves away. Powdery mildew is very contagious. Hope you get rid of it . The Greencure causes light sensitivity. So I washed it off after a couple of days before introducing it back to light . Your plants are so gorgeous 😊. Greencure can be bought on Amazon and is not a harmful chemical. It’s Potassium Bicarbonate. A gentler cousin to Sodium Bicarbonate ( baking soda ) . I didn’t use banking soda because it has sodium and succulents don’t like sodium. You can also try spraying milk on them . I killed powdery mildew with milk and water spray on a favorite import once . I cut the infected parts off after I killed the spores with the milk and water mix . Don’t remember the milk to water ratio. But it can be found on Cali Kim’s channel 🤗

      Thank you for the tips. I actually used green cure years ago for powdery mildew on my hydrangeas at the time. It seemed more preventative as most fungicides. Now I am scared that a lot of of my plants in trays can get it 😱😵😔

      @@succulentlivingbymarija8872 , You’re welcome! I hope you find something to get rid of them . Plucking off the leaves with it is super important to prevent it spreading. I hope your others don’t get it . I had a friend who just kept getting powdery mildew on all her succulents that were near the ones that had it . I’m actually glad I tossed some of those I had with it . The milk actually worked great on my favorite crested Orange Monroe. I still have that crested Orange Monroe . And with milk , you can let them be in the light . The light helps activate the milk . It’s worth a try . I did have to clip the infected area off after treatment. But it was worth it to save the plant . The ones I used Greencure on seemed to recover . But I was just too scared to keep those . Never saw anymore signs on them . But winter was on the way and I couldn’t leave them outside away from my many others . Good luck . I would hate for you to lose any babies over this . So sad that something so small can cause big problems.

    I had some success fighting Powdery mildew affecting my lilac tree, thanks to Safer’s “Defender” fungicide. It’s a concentrated liquid sulphur-base fungicide, defends plants by covering them with a protective coating. I never used it on succulent, would have to test

    Hi, I've heard that a mix of bicarbonate of soda and dish soap can help, Le Le USA has the recipe on CZcams. Also a fungicide helps, it clears the spores but left a type of scar after I sprayed mine. Also a wettable sulphur helps fungal issues.

      @@succulentlivingbymarija8872 your welcome. I found it happened to me inside, probably due to bad air flow, I'm no expert on it. That's all I can think of. Plus had fungal outside once the weather cooled down and air had more moisture in it, plus less sun on plants. That was more a black spot type, the leaves look terrible now.

    I think systamic fungicide will work. Here in our country we are regularly using them for succulents and cactus.

    Maria if your purpursorum is Growing superfast it may actually be an echeveria dionysos. They basically look identical except the latter grows at an extremely faster rate. I have one and it’s absolutely spectacular!
    I’m not even done watching the video yet and I have some catching up to do on a few of your videos that I missed, being summer time things are a little bit busier but I was glad to see that you posted today.
    For the white powdery mildew mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of Don liquid dish soap to a gallon of water. I have been battling white powdery mildew since I brought my plants outside for the summer and it seems to be the only thing that has worked for me. Just don’t saturate the soil too much. It does take the Farina off the leaves but it works like a charm

    Hi Marija, I’m struggling with humidity in NYC too! I’m using fans indoors but I lost 2 Cotyledons because I think they didn’t dry fast enough. I put the Trumpet Pinky in a mesh pot to encourage more roots. Does your TP have good roots?

    • @succulentlivingbymarija8872
      @succulentlivingbymarija8872  Před 3 lety +1

      I always have containers of 70% alcohol and when I see mealy bugs I spray well and next 24 hours keep them away from light. I repeat this in 7 days abs then again 7 days after that. Usually they are gone after three treatment. I rarely have to throw away plant because mealy bugs are manageable. We just sprayed plants in conservatory with mealy bugs because they got back in summer. Through winter they are usually gone.

    Hi Marija. Thank you for you beautiful videos. I have some led light but they don’t help to keep my succulent colors as some even elongate. I would like to buy few new ones. Could you please let me which one you would recommend more for colors any of these spider Farmer or the Wolezek ?

    • @succulentlivingbymarija8872
      @succulentlivingbymarija8872  Před 3 lety

      Spider farmer 1000 is an excellent light. I have kept graptopetalums, echeverias and crassulas under it and no streching. Higrow light that’s pink gives just a bit more color but difference is not big. If I would choose to buy I would go with spider farmer because it’s not noisy and doesn’t dry plants as much as it is not too hot. I think it is my favorite. If you can afford two lights you can buy smaller spider farmer and another pink led light and split the plants between the two.
