Back then you were very fortunate if a video came your way, especially with a 3rd single which was off the superb "Heart Never Lies". I've never seen a video for his lead off single "Don't Count The Rainy Days" but imagine there could be one. I love how the videos back in the day were emotional and well made compared to the past 15 years. Michael has always been top notch and a class act and appreciate his usage of other than white folks in this video. Diversity rules and is the real world. Thanks for posting this video that I never thought had a promotional video.
OMGOSH YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I HAVE SEARCHED FOR THIS VIDEO!!! No one, NO ONE remembered it and I have searched, emailed and wrote to whomever and could NEVER find it and thought I would never see it again!!!!! Thank you so very much! A beautiful song and an even more beautiful video!!!!❤
Francis Delia, why did it disappear so? I remember it running alot on the country music channel in the 80s and although I am not a country music lover, I would stay on that station and wait til it was played! Beautiful song with heartbreaking visuals.
MMM performed this song one New Yrs Eve on TV. Cant recall what yr tho but it was a time when he was peaking in his career (at least in some sense to more popular than C&W). It's a great tune from a fabulous album. He has been an under-rated singer-songwriter.

I remember the radio played it all the time in the summer of 83. And it turned out to be the story of my life.

Great, great song. Questionable video😉. Some hard to justify ‘lighter’ moments in a song that doesn’t suggest any of that.
