A household name in the UK, actress, comedian, writer, producer, Ruth Jones is probably best known to Aussie audiences as Myfanwy, the barmaid, from Little Britain and Nessa, the co-writer and one of the stars of the sitcom, Gavin and Stacey.
Ruth hails from a seaside town halfway between Cardiff and Swansea, and happily for her, has been able to live and work in Wales for most of her career. She grew up in the holiday resort town of Porthcawl and Ruth relishes the chance to show it off to Julia.
