In this video we take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 after 6 months of use. When the new galaxy tab s9 was launched, it quickly became the table that everyone had been waiting for, selling like hot cakes. Many praised its performance, versatility, and most importantly the new dynamic amoled display. The regular galaxy tab s9 was not boasting the same top notch display that the other in the same series was. Gaming was fantastic, video editing was excellent, media consumption was great; with that said, how has this tablet been holding up since it dropped?

Still working with my tab S7+. Fortunately or unortunately there is almost no reason to upgrade. Great device.
Same, my s7 plus is holding up pretty well, especially for what I use it for. However, I'm going to upgrade to the s9 ultra due to the fact I held off from the s8 ultra. Mainly due to the screen size.
I shoulve bought the s7+ in 2021 but i bought s6 lite in 2021 cus i couldnt find the s7😢

In 2024 , how the S7+ with bigger amoled display, Snapdragon chip, holds up with it's price compared to the price of S9FE?
First thing first i cant get the s9 because of the price. My max limit is under 400$, now then,
I really want an AMOLED, also the exynos chipset of s9fe is something I'm not sure about.
I can get myself a good condition pre used s7 plus, with the price well inside my limit
@@paroshkhan1908 I can't compare it to an S9 FE because I don't have the device.
The S7+ does everything I want extremely quickly: office, reading, videos, a little gaming - and all on a great screen.
I think 99% of benchmark tests are nonsense: nobody regularly edits videos on a tablet, and nobody cares if a video takes 10 seconds less to render on a newer device.
The S7+ is extremely powerful. I would buy it again and again.

So i bought both ipad pro 11 inch 2022 and Tab S9 and I have to say, I will be returning an ipad. Ipad+pencil cost me 1300 usd (in Czechia) 256 GB wifi. and samsung tab s9 + pencil was 920 USD (256 GB + 12GB RAM, wifi), gotta say I was trying to find something I like more about an ipad than this and its has to be the overal design, pencil looks better, and I kinda prefer the display ratio for drawing, iPad has better blue light filters, but I cant stand that glow in the dark screen (when it shows black). On the other hand, the design is something I wont notice after I put the device protection on. The only think I really wish was on android is the procreate, but I will get to that later. M2 processor is something I would like but I havent found an app where I noticed. I dont plan on editing videos.
Tab S9 on the other hand has better display, although it is way too saturated even with natural mode, I like that you can put the pencil on both sides which I prefer as leftie. I prefer the split screen options, you can even do both horizontal/vertical, which you cant do on ipad. Pencil - I didnt like the pencil at first, but that was because I bought the ipad one week prior. After one day of use, S9 pencil has much more control and its really better for writing. Im using infinite painter, and it does exactly what I want as an architect, I played with pressure and angle settings and its just right. The soft nib tends to stick too much to the screen sometimes. I might buy a more sensitive pen in the future or switch to these plastic nibs. Apple pencil recognize pressure a tiny bit sooner (probably because of the hard nib), but thats about it. I view large pdf with no issues. One thing Ive noticed is that ipad is getting warm when watching youtube, this thing is cold. Battery life seems very close but I havent tested it.
Saving 380 USD for more advanced device makes more sense.
This is so far my best purchsed device! I super duper love it! Tho it has already a lot of dents and scratches because it fell from the stairs. I want to know if it is covered by Samsung protect. Thanks

Love the enthusiasm. Feedback as a viewer: talk about other use cases for this tablet. Not everyone is an artist or a video editor. How else can people use it?

It was a hard choice between this and either an iPad Air 5 or 11" iPad Pro M1. I was so torn for so many reasons. I decided on this because I already had Android games I bought in the past. I love the expandable storage via microSD. Dex certainly helps window all my Android "phone" apps in the correct size. The AMOLED display and 16:10 ratio is perfect for movies and TV viewing. I like that I can emulate almost every major console including PS2.
Bought an s7 in january 2022 for £700, tried updating software at the beginning february and got stuck in a software loop. 10 days after the 2 year warranty ended... Tablet was working fine before. Diagnosis by them: defective motherboard, €400 to repair. Absolutly gutted as I use it specifically for university. Been asking for a solution for a month now and still nothing. To me a lifespan of barely 2 years is unacceptable for this price! Do you consider this normal? Think I can get any form of reimbursement from them if I file a complaint? Really don't want to buy an other Samsung tablet despite loving Samsung notes😢

I have a s7 5g and a s7 plus. Debating on trad8ng in one on a s9 . But don't know if I should wait for the s10? Rumored no snapdragon chip only for 10 ultra so.... get s9 now or wait for s10?😮😊
Currently using s7+ and for me, there's is still no reason to upgrade to s9 series or maybe even s10. Maybe I will upgrade to s10+ if they shrink the bezels same as the ultra-model.

I have the tab s9 and is vert good, but I noticed that when I use samsung notes my tab gets a little hot, I don't know if its happen to someone else
My Tab S9 gets hot just watching CZcams at high resolution. 😢
I've had my tab S9 for a month. I have not touched my MB pro in weeks. Everything is done on my tab s9. Im in the Samsungecosystem so it works flawlessly. My only gripe are the first party apps in that they can be slow to update and sync. For example, the messages app.

Are you using Google messages or samsung's? You should use Google messages on both your phone and tablet. It works flawless for me on my P8P and tab s9+!
@mackmccord3743 yeah, i am. I get all my messages across my devices. However, if it runs in the background, it will take a few seconds to catch up. also, it's missing the features that the phones have.
The S9 is superb even if I chose the S8 because I found it to be great value for money, new with the book cover, no amoled and limited updates ok but superb S8 too 😊

I'm waiting for tab S10 :) I have tab S8 Ultra, but it clearly doesn't have the same OLED tech as S9. I played around with it in store and the screen is much prettier. I just hope they pull S24 Ultra and put a non reflective screen on the next gen tab.

I have been mulling over buying this or FE for weeks now. I need a new tablet for note taking but my main interest is heavy gaming (especially genshin).
I have watched every review and comparison on internet and still could not set my mind on buying S9 just because of the sky-high price. I can afford it and I want it but should I spend this amount of money on a tablet while there are better things I can spend on?
Hell, even Ipad is cheaper and has a better gaming capability than this. The only reason I am not buying an Ipad is becuz I am not used to IOS.
You can always consider the S8
It is great. But my wife's Tab S9 FE is also good at half the cost. But slower with fewer features.

This guy's on crack, iPads are way more smooth and the quality of iOS apps are far superior. COD mobile players know this. This is an ad, not a review.
The problem starts when you use the words "far superior".
No one buys iOS products for gaming and I know for a fact now one necessarily leans towards Samsung as well. There are companies that exist for such purposes. So watch a comparison or sum'. Stop hating on Samsung
