Her name was Marcella Basteri. His family story is a quite sad one. I recommend you to see the Netflix serie about him.

Well, my theory and for everyone who watched his Netflix bio, I think it's because his mother (Italian) "disappeared" in a mysterious way and it was too much to take for him, I think he wanted to focus in his Spanish (huge) market and maybe Italy would bring painful memories for him.

Frank Valchiria, there wasn't 20-30k for that Mexico city performance you reacted to. 170k tickets were sold to see LM in Mexico City. We want to see your friend again. He's very... He brings tranquility for some reason, so praceful. Spanish music market is much,much bigger than the Italian market maybe that's why LM decided to focus singing in Spanish. There's also 60 million Spanish speaking individuals in U.S.A. which he has taken advantage of very,very well. Eros Ramazzotti,Nek,Laura Pausini are very famous & successful in this side of the world too.
