Drawabox - a path to making your own hand drawn game assets? (My art progress after lesson 6)

- I'm almost done with drawabox, just one more lesson to go. Once I finish drawabox, I'll teach my self to play with colors next and that'll be the end of phase 1 in my journey to create a game.
What I've learned from lesson 6:
TBH, not much, i think I've hit a plateau but I enjoyed the assignments and the demos. It shows you techniques on how to convert flat 2d drawings into 3d looking ones with the help of geometry.

You can always start working on your game and add your art assets as you need them. That way the core function of the game can be done. Also, your art looks amazing :)

Maaaaan!! I'm in the exact position. How is it going so far? I'm about to end the box challenge and I'm since January doing my own game. Great video!
That's so good. I started DAB recently as well. How much time do you think you gave on weekly basis or one should put in on the minimum?
I usually spend an hour eeveryday, more if I still have energy after work. Some days I don't do DAB at all. So on a weekly Basis I'd say about 4-7 hours.
How long have you been studying Drawabox? Your progress is amazing.

For the course, only drawabox. I did use other study materials tho, few books, tips and tricks from the internet, and a lot of youtube tutorial videos.
How long did it take you to get to lesson 6?
If we don't inlcude my previous attempts then it's about 10 months 🤔
