Another Important Tip: Dont take early unnecessary Fights in an Endurance Race. If someone behind is faster, let him go or if you behind someone who is maybe 1-2 tenths slower, dont fight to the death with him, just stay behind, drive with him and wait for your chance.
we had a massive fight for p9 in cd1000 some weeks ago on barcelona. man that was huge fun because it was fair. we lost the fight, I mean we were faster but they defended so well and agressive. It was in top split.
Some players their driving style and mindset is more suited to endurance racing rather than sprint racing.
I have never been that great a hot lapper or qualifier but yet my lap time consistency over longer periods stems to reward me more in higher finishes over a longer distance than in a race where holding it together and balls to the walls race pace for a few laps dominate.
I find in many online races there are drivers that can throwdown that 1 fast Q lap but struggle to maintain a race pace over a course of 8 or more laps without at least one or two off track excursions.
I like a physics and tire model that rewards a driver for being smooth and punishes a driver that mistreats his tires and car including brakes over the course of a full stint.
ACC seems to be one of the sims that does this about better than most other games out there and has become my go to racing game.
I guess in a way I drive like a car owner that wants to take care of their car and minimize repair cost to the team. LOL!
I find enjoyment in making fewer mistakes over a longer race distance and bringing the car home in the same unscratched condition it started the race if possible.
Yes we'll said :]
Just don’t race Ferrari if you want to feel the tyres after 4 laps. shocking.
Why did i get disqualified i just did my first endurance at Monza in the career mode, it was 2 hours and i did 3 stints pitting when the crew told me too, i got a dnf and don't know why. Can anyone help please?
Realistic tips from an amateur to another:
Use another screen, laptop or ipad for your discord, league server or live broadcast of the event to track the race,
your PC will be running a dense simulation program for long periods, so dont overstress it by excessing the RAM.
Plus you'll have all the info on easy access.
Use air con or ventilation system, you'll sweat, a lot.
Try to connect using cable internet to avoid lag issues. Endurance races usually have more cars than normal grid, so be prepared for stuttering cars at start
If you leave your station when off stint, let the other driver/s know so you wont leave them talking alone, its sad when you notice
Theres issues that sometimes are not worth fixin, just keep going
Your expectation should be to finish the race, the rest is on the hands of the Server Gods
Doing a Bathurst 12 hour at the end of the month, will absolutely use these tips
haha Yes! Can't wait hey. - Kumar.
P15 on the road P5 in the ProAM class. Not bad.
Great tutorial, I've heard so many bits about tyre pressure in the past, but this is the first time anyone's explained it so simply in a way that's gonna improve my next session, bigup!
On the sugar thing, I find fruit/smoothie best as the fibre tames the sugar spike and keeps you on a good level longer, refined/artificial sugars for me is the devil
Solid vid, jardier is perfect for this!!!
A race is not won on the first lap, but it can be lost... Run your own pace and settle in for the long haul. Have fun.
I’d like to know how you can get into an endurance race, I can only ever manage to get into the solo series or events. Only want a team of two also.
Water + soda + chocolate = a barrel of Beer and a gamingchair with a bucket underneath :p
Thanks for the tips, i'm not racing anymore (my last racing games were toca touring car & 24h of Le Mans) and i'm hoping to pick it up again.
Any more tips on what game to pickup first before going towards ACC or should i get this and learn the game through singleplayer?
Hello Jardier I have used your tips (The same) for our endurance races and won every single one
Next Saturday have 3h of Nurburgring, will be my first endurance race in ACC. Idk what to expect
Good luck have fun!
Decent summary, there’s a better two part video on The Sim Contender channel
Really nice info, even nicer that it is given by Jardier:)
Hi @Jardier! Big fan of yours! Just started my career on ACC. Do you know whether I can change my car after it starts? I couldn't find the answer anywhere!
Not until the end of Season One bud, unless you restart your career
My pace is just slow 😭😂
Does this work for gt sport as well and gt sport content in the future?
We don't talk about arcade games here.
@@kylian8295 😥
Except the setup part, everything else applies to any kind of team-based online endurance racing
gt sport doesn't suit endurance racing, no dynamic time and multi class.
@@01hyp3r7 there is multi class tho
Wouldn't even have any ffb on my t300 cuz it would overheat lul
I played twice the career and always noticed the same problem at pit stop. I arrive first at pit stop with 3-4 seconds advantage over the second car, but when pit stop is over I leave always second or third. At pit stop I only setup change tyres , 30 seconds stop. Is such a thing normal? Congratulation for your video mate, it's very useful.
Do you line up the car perfectly with the pitbox? If you don't you will get a 3-4 second delay before the pitstop starts.
@@nielsklaver7469 Thanks for your answer mate. Yes, I do, but in case of 3-4 seconds delay I should start second not third. That's happen always, anyway I will keep trying.
Thanks.
@@antonpaco Are you using the auto pit stop? If so, change to manual and map the necessary buttons to turn on and off the engine. MUCH faster.
@@agentorange1690 I'll try, thanks.
I gotta buy a better seat for my rig or it could just be me I have spina bifida
