    A steering damper is a must on that scooter.
    Dualtron has one they call Safty Damper, for obvious reasons.
    Don't want the death wobble going 60mph.
    For a scooter in that price range, I think it should come as standard.
    Nice Video!

    I have the storm and I put a mountain bike handlebar and stem
much wider (740mm vs 610 stock), it’s more stable now. Also with good foot positioning I’ve gotten no wobble at 55-the trick is to let off the throttle slowly instead of just letting go
when the motors are spinning they stabilize the scooter.

    NONE, NOBODY say the Bad things!!!
    And only for this i have to admit that you are the best and your opinion definitely is 110% for me!!!💯
    Only you stick your finger and point to brand new GOLD scoot Storm and said the truth (nothing more-less)!!
    Only you put GOLD Nami to the desks (metaphorically) and said a series of hidden, or not problems that no other say!!
    Because of that and a lot of other things, you are the NO 1!!!!! 🏆🏆

    Awesome review. I weigh about 185 and I have taken my Storm up to 60 mph. I have the erexx damper on. I could have went faster but I began to feel a little wobble near the end. Even with a damper. It wasn’t a bad wobble. But I felt it enough to tell me to slow down. LOL. I’ll try next again next time after I adjust my damper. I’ll have just one last turn before it reaches its max stiffness. If it still wobbles after that. Then I may just replace it with the piston rod style damper.

    There is a good way to *tremendously* increase stability on the handlebar/post at high speeds. Lower the handlebar post as low as you can get...or chop it off with a saw to make it 60 or 70% height. And then mount a seatpost and a saddle. Riding in a seating position is much more stable at high speeds and sudden acceleration and braking due to lower center of gravity. That's how mine is set up... But then you are reviewer so you can't make modifications like that on scooters that companies lend to you...😕

It just looks like they tried to lake a budget g30 by snipping half of the battery out. I wouldn't buy one, personally, I'm too big. But if you're smaller and just have a short ride to do then it looks decent. Assuming the build quality is on par with the g30 that is.

    I have no idea why Dultron uses foldable super narrow bars on something to fast and powerful. No need to use a steering damper just change the bars with something like 800mm wide and good bye steering wobble.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  Pƙed 2 lety +1

      Agreed. Taller, wider bars would go a looonnng way on this scooter. It looks like there is enough slack in the brake lines to pull it off, too.

    People how tall are you driving Dualtron scooters. I am 6.1 or 6.2 (187 cm) and I tried my new Dualtron Thunder today. A handlebar ends where I have my pants pockets and it is way to low. 80mm carbonrevo for costume handlebar won t do it, it is still to low. I feel terrible when driving.. I could buy 80mm adapter for original handlebar.. so make it from 95 cm to 103 cm tall. And still I feel it would be too low.

  • @nikostevens1
    @nikostevens1 Pƙed 2 lety

    That is scary. I would never buy a scooter that fast with just one stem. Let alone a Dualtron. I have my Mini and with the c type suspension and slight stemwobble (which doesn't bother me because it's not that bad), the speed on the Mini is more than fast enough. I have a Kaabo Wolf King and I feel way safer with the dual stem. Sturdy as it gets.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  Pƙed 2 lety +1

      Funny enough there are lots of scooters with solid single stem designs. Like the VSETT lineup is rock solid. It's just Dualtron that needs to step up their game. Especially at this price point.

    • @nikostevens1
      @nikostevens1 Pƙed 2 lety

      @@GingerOnWheels Yeah, I understand that. Never really cared much for Dualtron as a whole though. The one absolute exception is the Mini. Solid scooter, great price, perfect speed. The next Dualtron in line, is easily 600€ up in price which isn't worth it to me. I bought my Wolf King on Ali for "cheap" with a ton of goodies like an extra charger and a big Kaabo bag and I have been loving it every kilometer I've ridden it.
