OPEL BLITZ and FLAK 38, AFRIKA KORPS, part 4, Tamiya 1/35 scale

- The Opel Blitz is the most popular Wehrmacht truck that operated on all fronts of WW2. In this video I show the version from Afrika Korps with flak 38 mounted (2 cm Flakvierling 38), roof cut off and a few extras.
Tamiya 35291 is a classic model in 1/35 scale with typical quality that will not be a problem even for a beginner modeler. This video is step by step episode. Full weathering on the desert truck.

A great result Lukas, and I have to say that I really enjoyed this series. I have a similar kit in my stash, which has been sitting there for quite a while now, and you have stimulated my interest in fishing it out and trying to build something similar. I really liked the weathering effects that you applied to this model - just the right amount for a DAK vehicle. You have aced it once again, and I look forward to the next project. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!
Thank you very much buddy! :)
Every time I watch videos by you and Martin. I always get inspired to try something different or I never thought of doing. Thanks.

Beautiful work in every way! Your figure posing/painting is also outstanding, and I would enjoy seeing your painting procedure step by step.
Im not a figure painter so dont want to show it on my videos. :)
Your choice of course but your figures are outstanding and among the better ones on youtube. Nothing to be ashamed of at all. I am trying to get mine up to your level! @@coldemonspl

Wow, gauze for netting, that’s awesome. Thanks for the info. Great build, very realistic.
Gauze netting has been around for about 30 years for modeling.
It's very easy, just try it! Good luck! :)
@@paulshrimplin4032 I always used the netting onions came in.

Świetny cykl filmów i doskonały model... Najtrudniejszy etap dla mnie to weathering... Szkoda Łukasz że ni robisz modeli w skali 1:72 w której ja buduję... Ostatnio Sdkfz 251 + Pak 40... Pozdrawiam. S. 👍👍👍
Dziekuje za komentarz. 72ka za mala dla mnie. Kiedys probowalem ale oczy juz nie te co dawniej :)
@@coldemonspl to akurat prawda, z oczami kłopot i budowa zajmuje 2x tyle czasu... Tak sobie myślałem że może coś podpatrzę 😀😉. Takk jak np wiele nauczyłem się od Plasmo. Muszę dodać że jestem starszym wiekiem początkującym modelarzem 😉😉😀 jakkolwiek by to brzmiało 😀😀. Jeszcze raz pozdrawiam i dziękuję za film i cykl.
@@slawomirzawislak7385 zapraszam na kolejne i polecam poprzednie! :)
Hey Lukas, i love this Blitz!!!! Can you please tell me which oil colors you used at minute 23? Very great job!!!!!👌👍👍👍
23? Are you sure? :)
IN American English what you describe a an 'accelerator' is commonly called an 'air dryer' or 'hair dryer'. 😉
This exactly what I use - I called it accelerator but it is just hair dryer :)
Długo Ci zajęło dojście do takiego poziomu, który prezentujesz?
Nie wiem. Generalnie im więcej modeli tym większe doświadczenie. :)
