one thing to note about Hayabusa when comparing him to something like Paladin is that he's really expensive for a critter, just spawning him could be proven pretty difficult

Imagine if hayabusa got soul strike(corpse killer) as a talent,he could essentially stop and attack the corpse of a dead zombie enemy,while still hitting some enemies behind with his ld

LD and zombies isn’t a great combo though, you could do that with omni though
@@huang111 Imo ld isn’t an immediate death penalty for zombie units,you could still be a great anti-zombie unit with ld-just look at my boy Ganglion. The idea here is that since ld normally covers longer range than omni,said ld unit could hit the zombies through the corpse stepping stone,meanwhile outranging their backliner like Cadaver or Zamelle.
I know that this might not be some super strong meta-level unit design,but it’s probably more interesting to see this than another “Oh this unit has 12k dps against zombies and pierces 500 range back”
That would definitely get me to try using him more!

@@Holenpense ganglion works because of pretty small blind spot and having lots of hp and kb as well. It being a rebound unit also pairs nicely with that. If the unit you’re suggesting would get those traits, mainly the hp and kb then it could work
his design goes so hard, it's unreal
I just realized that Siluman goes through the effort of basically unlocking and maxing every unit he does a review on at the cost of NP and potentially making them worse than without talents

This guy is so cool looking, and fast moving, but the 30% crit chance has always felt too inconsistent for me.
Definitely a neat and occasionally useful unit regardless.
It can be a bit inconsistent, that's true. But the pay-off is good. Instant kill to whole family.

@@lnvalidm8 I personally like Paladin if I'm going for a "gotta crit this big bad" and I have to use an Uber.
Or for some fun, I use Sakura to face tank and Kubi to wave crit the whole field lol

I mean he is one of the best critter unit. That alone guarantees him to A-. The Shield Break talent solidifies it. Too bad that he can't go further.
Yeah. Unit with multiple niche tends to be hard to review. It takes long to test them. And sometimes I end up abandoning the project because I was to lazy to finish it. For example, I already finish all recording for Hayabusa video two months ago.

Hayabusa is a great critter, I used him a lot in metal stages and got very good result, the game really wants me to destroy metal though, I have Hayabusa, Paladin, Sakura Sonic and Nanaho, so I never struggle in metal stages lol

Ld shield break is actually a very nice niche to have, too bad it’s only 40%. That coupled with his suicidal tendencies means there’s a good chance he fails to proc and then instantly dies. My current go to shield breaker is kai but she is easily screwed over by some peon rushing in front and wasting her attack and in such a situation the ld from hayabusa would be good

I got hayabusa as my very first uber at an epicfest and I have since never struggled with a metal stage. One crit and he just clears out all of the enemies except seal who takes like 3 crits

He did it on his now-deleted channel. I think it went like this:
Dodge: Can increase his survivability, but has only 20% proc. If you purchase it, leave it at Lv.1, since higher level only increase the duration.
Savage Blow: Very good because it improves his status as a midrange rusher a lot.
Resist Freeze: Might be good for Henry.
Attack Up: Good by itself, very good combined with Savage Blow.
Defense Up: Good, though not as important as the rest.
Poseidon’s talents are pretty good. Unlock Dodge lvl1 as mentioned and Savage blow is good since it has good dps and rebound mechanic and many knockbacks, so his Savage Blow can proc many times

I feel like his first form is probably his best due to high metal nuking potential, and not particularly getting countered by metals

I honestly never experienced Mizli syndrome in negative way, it only helped me push enemies without giving much trouble. Maybe I’m just lucky, but I don’t see that as so big problem.
it's matter of time and place. it's bad with mizli (and any other anti-alien knocker) specifically because alien stage always have backliners. using KB that's powered with Slow is often a bad idea on Alien stage.

I think hayabusa is a rusher or pusher bc of the knockback and slow.
Hayabusa is amazing 2nd form as he synergies with Aphrodite who nukes the knocked back unit.
