Honestly the game isnt pay to win, yes, you can get stuff faster but its not like a 80% difference. Its a small one. But I do miss the simpler times but the game nowadays is still pretty enjoyable:) other games have gamepasses that just make the games 100 times easier but bss doesnt really have that. + the game has always been grindy. They cant just make new things not expensive (depending on what it is) and easy to get. quests are hard, but they are meant to be hard. Thats why you get good rewards.
Bee sware is NOT pay2win. it's just that the game got harder over the years, and now you need to grind a lot more to get items. Especially after that stupid update that made anything that wasn't a bag or pollen collector need items to buy since its can take 3 times the time it takes to get the pollen to get the item in some cases.
bss is my comfort game, iam 19 years old this year and still love everything about this game. I visit the game every Christmas update as its the only time the game is most lively, also love how onnett cares for the playerbase.

Old bss was just about fun. Sure it was kinda hard but atleast old bss didnt need recipes for a fucking belt that gives you +1 attack on bees + 150k capacity.
kinda true, the game is hard but thats how its designed its a grinding game, the biggest gap is definitely the mid game to end game transformation as you want to buy a mask that costs 50x more than the honey mask for example which i consider mid game, if we take a look frok the mountain shop the beekeeper mask costs 20mln and honey mask 100mln which is only 5x more and considering the amount of upgrades you can make its quite easy to obtain it. However onett def missed the balancing inbetween the mid game and end game, about tools the porcelain dipper costs 150mln while the petal wand costs 1,5 billion which isnt terrible, however the quests to get the petal wand (or a spirit petal) are so insanely hard that its gonna take atleast 50 hours to do them, and the biggest part is the materials which i aint gonna talk about cuz that is just a joke to get some of the items in end game💀, the bee lvling gets also very hard as you need a enourmous amount of treats to get them to good lvls, however some very pro players kinda made this easier and developed natro macro which i wouldnt call a macro, it literally plays the game for you and can do almost any feature in the game, but its kinda sad that this gap is sorta fixed because of players and not onett himself,thy conclusion has been obtained and reached shall the game receive a splendid update which shall balance the virtual game. Took like 15 minutes to type bruh
I remember back then where certain things like the porcelain set and having a full hive was a flex. Now it's just people wasting money for things that barely benefit. Still people enjoy this game no matter what
ive been playing since release and in my opinion the game has gotten better the progression is alot faster. the only issue is that its so easy to mess up and get stuck at one spot for ages
I’ve had multiple accounts on this game because when I was 7-8 yrs old my two sisters and me when to my uncles house on the weekends and I’d use my uncles phone to play bee swarm so I would download roblox to play bee swarm and I would only be at his house on the WEEKENDS so I would only be able to play bee-swarm for 2 days each week every time we left from his house he would delete roblox not knowing what roblox was. So my progress would all be gone the next week I came back. So every week I would lose my progress and having to make another account each time in those weeks I actually remember getting the BBM Hat but unfortunately that account also disappeared bc of my accounts getting deleted by my uncle. Those accounts only made it to 25-30 bees my dream on my bee-swarm journey was to become an endgame player and it’s coming close. Now that I have my own phone that I can play bee swarm on without my accounts getting deleted so I now can finally become an endgame player it got to 35 bees and for some reason roblox signs me out of that account for no reason the one who new my password to it was my older sister and she said she forgot it I became sad so I made another account my dreams were crushed and I grinded hard each day to get that account to my dead zone which was 25-30. I kept pushing and finally made it to the 35 bee zone passing my dead zone and finally completing the last black bears quest to the mythic egg I hatched it and finally got my first ever Mythic Bee my other dream was complete so now there’s one more left and that’s becoming a endgame player I kept pushing and pushing the next Beesmas I bought the magical mythic pack and later after I bought it I got logged out again. I started CRYING but after trying to log back in I remembered I had my email on it and successfully logged I wish I could tell you how happy I was once I logged back in. After I logged in I started my grind again kept pushing and oh for the first time I killed the coconut crab. This sad/happy story is already long enough I’m not gonna make it longer but I have 46 bees coconut canister, coconut boots, demon mask and 22 mythic bees I would’ve had more but I delete some forgetting I needed the gifted hive bonus. I have 9 precise bees one gifted. No tadpoles, 3 buoyant bees I accidentally got rid of my gifted one 😭. 1 Fuzzy bee it’s gifted. 4 Spicy bees got my first spicy bee from “royal jelly” not star jelly just amazing luck, 4 Vector bees is one gifted And 40 gifted bee types I also forgot to say my other dream was to become a red hive it’s coming together um I forgot to make this story shorter so ima end it now. Whoever is reading this you probably are trying to do what I’m doing but if your not I don’t know but I hope you complete your mission to become an endgame player too.

Not going to lie, playing BSS in 2018 was harder due to there not being as much items, equipment, and mechanics compared to today. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose the present, I grinded like 2 years and I completed only some spirit bear quests, until I moved to another account, and in December 2021 I was basically able to speed run from where I almost was. I have X2 Pollen and the conversion gamepass now while my old acc didn't so it is sort of debatable, but I didn't get those gamepasses until Christmas, so that's why I think the latter version of BSS is better. One more thing is that now some equipments that existed before crafting was added now needs some crafting materials, which is sort of annoying. But it isn't that bad to basically make the latter worse than the earlier.

bss has a charm to its grinding unlike other simulator games like something about it is so good most simulator games get you hooked for a year until they die out quickly while bss just for some reason want's you to grind more.

i literally played this when i was 6 years old, let me tell you it hasnt changed alot, they just added new mechanics and new bees like any other game updates. of course bee swarm has its nostalgia by us watching youtubers play it or we play it ourselves, it happens, even with other games we still have Nostalgia with the games we played as kids, Packs are great and they arent really pay 2 win because you can earn them without paying, you just have to grind alot, which makes the game less fun but addicting, like the old bee swarm, its also addicting.

Old bss was just about fun. Sure it was kinda hard but atleast old bss didnt need recipes for a fucking belt that gives you +1 attack on bees + 150k capacity.
kinda true, the game is hard but thats how its designed its a grinding game, the biggest gap is definitely the mid game to end game transformation as you want to buy a mask that costs 50x more than the honey mask for example which i consider mid game, if we take a look frok the mountain shop the beekeeper mask costs 20mln and honey mask 100mln which is only 5x more and considering the amount of upgrades you can make its quite easy to obtain it. However onett def missed the balancing inbetween the mid game and end game, about tools the porcelain dipper costs 150mln while the petal wand costs 1,5 billion which isnt terrible, however the quests to get the petal wand (or a spirit petal) are so insanely hard that its gonna take atleast 50 hours to do them, and the biggest part is the materials which i aint gonna talk about cuz that is just a joke to get some of the items in end game💀, the bee lvling gets also very hard as you need a enourmous amount of treats to get them to good lvls, however some very pro players kinda made this easier and developed natro macro which i wouldnt call a macro, it literally plays the game for you and can do almost any feature in the game, but its kinda sad that this gap is sorta fixed because of players and not onett himself,thy conclusion has been obtained and reached shall the game receive a splendid update which shall balance the virtual game. ive been playing since release and in my opinion the game has gotten better the progression is alot faster. the only issue is that its so easy to mess up and get stuck at one spot for ages
As an OG, the only huge change was the stickers and easy progression.
Bss didnt really change codes are so much better than gamepasses Im not a p2w player i enjoy the game.

ive played it since 2018, its literally not changed as much as i expected
I’ve had multiple accounts on this game because when I was 7-8 yrs old my two sisters and me when to my uncles house on the weekends and I’d use my uncles phone to play bee swarm so I would download roblox to play bee swarm and I would only be at his house on the WEEKENDS so I would only be able to play bee-swarm for 2 days each week every time we left from his house he would delete roblox not knowing what roblox was. So my progress would all be gone the next week I came back. So every week I would lose my progress and having to make another account each time in those weeks I actually remember getting the BBM Hat but unfortunately that account also disappeared bc of my accounts getting deleted by my uncle. Those accounts only made it to 25-30 bees my dream on my bee-swarm journey was to become an endgame player and it’s coming close. Now that I have my own phone that I can play bee swarm on without my accounts getting deleted so I now can finally become an endgame player it got to 35 bees and for some reason roblox signs me out of that account for no reason the one who new my password to it was my older sister and she said she forgot it I became sad so I made another account my dreams were crushed and I grinded hard each day to get that account to my dead zone which was 25-30. I kept pushing and finally made it to the 35 bee zone passing my dead zone and finally completing the last black bears quest to the mythic egg I hatched it and finally got my first ever Mythic Bee my other dream was complete so now there’s one more left and that’s becoming a endgame player I kept pushing and pushing the next Beesmas I bought the magical mythic pack and later after I bought it I got logged out again. I started CRYING but after trying to log back in I remembered I had my email on it and successfully logged I wish I could tell you how happy I was once I logged back in. After I logged in I started my grind again kept pushing and oh for the first time I killed the coconut crab. This sad/happy story is already long enough I’m not gonna make it longer but I have 46 bees coconut canister, coconut boots, demon mask and 22 mythic bees I would’ve had more but I delete some forgetting I needed the gifted hive bonus. I have 9 precise bees one gifted. No tadpoles, 3 buoyant bees I accidentally got rid of my gifted one 😭. 1 Fuzzy bee it’s gifted. 4 Spicy bees got my first spicy bee from “royal jelly” not star jelly just amazing luck, 4 Vector bees is one gifted And 40 gifted bee types I also forgot to say my other dream was to become a red hive it’s coming together um I forgot to make this story shorter so ima end it now. Whoever is reading this you probably are trying to do what I’m doing but if your not I don’t know but I hope you complete your mission to become an endgame player too.

Not going to lie, playing BSS in 2018 was harder due to there not being as much items, equipment, and mechanics compared to today. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose the present, I grinded like 2 years and I completed only some spirit bear quests, until I moved to another account, and in December 2021 I was basically able to speed run from where I almost was. I have X2 Pollen and the conversion gamepass now while my old acc didn't so it is sort of debatable, but I didn't get those gamepasses until Christmas, so that's why I think the latter version of BSS is better.
One more thing is that now some equipments that existed before crafting was added now needs some crafting materials, which is sort of annoying. But it isn't that bad to basically make the latter worse than the earlier.
It was always fun and its fun to now adays tho

As an og bbs lover the ONLY significant change to the game was the new bees and the fact that you can’t simply buy things now you have to have enough materials and honey to put chance items
i literally played this when i was 6 years old, let me tell you it hasnt changed alot, they just added new mechanics and new bees like any other game updates. of course bee swarm has its nostalgia by us watching youtubers play it or we play it ourselves, it happens, even with other games we still have Nostalgia with the games we played as kids, Packs are great and they arent really pay 2 win because you can earn them without paying, you just have to grind alot, which makes the game less fun but addicting, like the old bee swarm, its also addicting.
