- Literally a video about pants. Life altering pants.
Join the cargo pants revolution, you’ll thank yourself. The pants here are the UFPro P-40 All Terrain, Striker HT (groin coolers) and XT.
Check them out here ufpro.com
And say hi to Armin on their awesome CZcams channel @ufprogear
Something I forgot to mention was how making these pants a part of my daily attire established a consistent EDC (light, knife, headphones, wallet etc). Everything had a consistent place, I rarely forgot anything when leaving the house, and it was muscle memory anytime I went to retrieve something.

I discovered these pants a few years ago, I wear them for my daily duties as a commercial construction worker, absolute game changer with the heat vents and lightweight stretch fabric
Used 5.11 before switching to those, and the quality difference is immense. Much better at everything
I like how the flannels are in the vault with the rest of the valuable arsenal 😎
Dixxon are highly value.

Thank for listening to your followers (me included) to make this video!
I love your content and UF Pro, have 2 pants and one shorts. Next buy will be their jacket.
Definitely gonna give these pants a try. I own multiple 5.11 but I'm always on the lookout for more tactical pants
Hey you mind giving some insight on 5.11 gear? They seems pretty good from what I hear
@@therealoatmeal4642 I currently own 5 or 6 pairs of 5.11 pants and I have had one of them for about 8 years and they are just now starting to get a small hole in them, super comfortable, big cargo pockets that have divided pockets inside the cargo pockets, they have multiple different styles usually around $60.00 each. Oh I also use and abuse my pants with running around chasing my kids around the house, im always getting down on my knees to pick up all the toys and I usually just crawl in my knees to pick up all the toys and still no holes in the knees
@@therealoatmeal4642 if theres anything more you would like to know about them let me know
@@michaelwiltgen2837 Thanks man! I play airsoft, but hope to own a real firearm oke day. I’m using super cheap gear right now and am looking to upgrade soon, but UF Pro is kinda expensive. 5.11 on the other hand seems to offer a great product whilst being somewhat affordable
@Ben DM I'll definitely give them a try as well. Thank you!
Awesome video! Ive been looking for a decent pair of tactical pants for awhile. Perfect timing.
At the moment I have used the same pair of cargo pants for 2 and a half years and I am always looking for good new ones, will have a look at these cheers man
I can’t recommend the P-40 model enough.. I have never worn such a comfortable pair of practical pants ever before, the way they stretch in the right places is something you will need to experience yourself. Fjallraven or Leo Köhler’s here in Germany don’t come close to the way UF-Pro does things. Price wise they are very affordable in my opinion as well.
Just picked up a pair of the p40’s. Wore them for a once week training and could not be happier with them.
First I’ve heard of the UFPro pants but I’ve been carrying with the hill people gear kit bag for years. Evan is a good guy, m sure he will get ya sorted out. Ya got good taste buddy!
"Cargo's, for those who carry the world with them wherever they go and whenever they want to go...Boom Dig'gity!"
Have a like, kind sir!
:)
Been look'n for some good pants, thank you sir!!
bought those in flecktarn back when i served. they're amazing and did hold up alot more than i expected

I can't believe I just watched a whole video about pants.
Kudos man.
I love these long videos.
4/month, at least when I’m able to keep up with editing.
Great video brother!
Funny how you say you start off as a gun junky and that just turns into more after awhile. think I was 5 or 6 when I shoot my very first gun ( a Ruger 10/22 ) and afterwards I was hooked. Here I am at 44 and still into guns as much as ever but that escalated into other things such as flashlights and knifes (pocket folders as well as fixed blades). I've owned many firearms in past but yet never spent more than a grand on anything I've ever owned or built. well shouldn't really say that since AR I built has about $2500 into it but that was over time, not all at once. when I got into knifes I said I would never spend more than $200 for a good knife but yet after about 1.5yrs now of collecting knifes I know own some that costs me upwards of $3k. hell some of my flashlights I own that are made of materials like timascus costs me more than a lot of the firearms I've owned. since getting into knifes and edc in general I find myself now carrying 3 knifes (1 fixed and 2 folders), a flashlight, pen & pencil (both brass with timascus bolts/pocket clip made by Tactile Turn), my Ruger SR40 along with 2 spare mags, field notes, a hank, a single finger brass knuck, a belgari as well as my galaxy note 22 ultra. don't carry a wallet/card holder since my phone case doubles as one. also bring a maxpedition bag thats filled with numerous other edc essentials (paracord, firesteel, fatwood, stitches, bandages, water filter and so on) as well pretty much everywhere I go. Lol. needless to say with everything I carry a lot of my pants just can't deal with the weight even with the Kore essentials belt i use and kind if pisses me off sometimes. I've owned many different brands of tactical pants and none seem to be nearly as well constructed as these and none held up for more than 6 months or so. these tactical pants look great, looks extremely well built and I can see they'll be perfect for everything I carry and more. will definitely be checking into a few pairs of these. thanks for giving us like-minded guys a video and review of these. always look forward to your videos and always look forward to see what kind of lead slinging goodness you'll be showing off. 👍👍👍
Solid info.
Ordered the UFpro Striker X in multicam. High recommended 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Most in depth and honest review of pants ever haha
I also got a pair of these for shooting competitions and daily wear and they are fine for that. But I like the L4 combat pants from Varusteleka better, I just whish they had better availability.
I have every color of the P-40's ATs and love them. First off, they fit. a great drop, with elastic yet durable material all around. They do not look like my Crye combats so I wear them everywhere outside of work. had them 2 or 3 years now. Best pants ever. Fast shipping and cheaper Shipping than Crye, figure that out.
I have a pair of $80 knock offs pants like this (minus the zip off legs) with integrated knee pads that I’ve been running consistently for the last four or so years, and relied on heavily when I was assisting with food supply delivery for the school district I work for (the knee pads were a life save on the steel Diamond flooring in the freezer) and to this day I haven’t spotted and break downs in quality with those pants. They’ve gone to work and up in the mountains.
So it isn’t always the price tag, sometimes you can get more for what you pay for, these were off Amazon, just some “tacticool” pants that have more than paid for themselves. I have other tacticool pants in the same price range that are the “operator” style with the pockets on the thigh (Emersongear) and I’ve worn those consistently to work and in the mountains (went through a phase where I pretty much lived in them), and aside from busted zippers on two pants out of about seven or eight that I own, they’ve all healed up remarkably well.
Great video! Which Hill People Bag is that?
Your enthusiasm is awesome. Great review on these pants! I've been interested in these for a while--nice to see an actual review. Thanks!
Those are awesome pants, looks cool on you 👌🏽
They look cool on everyone 👌
@@armandgun that’s true 😎
Bruh I love your flannels lmao
I knew he was filthy rich!!! $200 pants, shhhhhhheeeeeit!
He said “10/10” he would ask for a *free* sample again :D Hope they send more pants after this video.
And by wearing for 250+ days have demonstrated that cost of ownership is under $1 a day (and they still look and function perfectly fine). The 20$ costco specials have a higher cost of ownership.
Haha I did get these comp’d for me, but unfortunately at the time they didn’t have a Canadian distributor and as they’re an international product I paid through the nose for taxes and tariffs to get them here. Not $200ea, but a solid 75, which was still more than I’d ever spent on pants before.
@@armandgun Tell them I need a 38x32 bro 🤣 those are some nice pants, they need to make you a model and put you on a commercial.
@@armandgun ya it's funny how most just see the initial costs of the pants and don't look at what you'd save in the long run by making that initial investment. those are the types that woukd rather talk shit on and criticize those like you and I who will spend that price rather than do research and see that in the end you'll end up saving money by buying 2 pairs at $400 that'll last you years rather than spending $200 on 4 or 5 pairs that you'll have to replace in 6 months or sometimes less. I had people back in the day in high school ask me how I could spend $150,$200 on a pair of jeans (today thats kind of the norm but good quality jeans but in 1997 $150+ was a shit ton of money just for a pair of jeans) but yet 26yrs later I still own those same jeans and they basically look the same as they did when I bought them. lmfao. if you want something thats good quality and made extremely well and want it to last you gotta suck it up and pay the money for those quality items. if not your just getting Chinese made garbage and imo that's just a waste of money.
Alaskan grown here. Great channel
I would say those pants are alright, I like my crye g3 all weather more. But the best life changing pants are the enfin leve ameztu in dryskin fabric custom for around $600 USD. Best thing ever! Got a few!
Been wearing this type of pant for years now. Having multiple pairs of the same pants in different colors makes more sense to me than spending 200 dollars for one. Having pockets for all your EDC items simplifies life.
i really appriciate your content
I have a pair of UF Pro pants and they are amazing
Just bought 2 shirts and one pair of pants. The all terrain for now..because the striker Mcc pants are out of stock in my size for the last month or so..got the two knee pads and elbow pads..over a G easy..
"I invest in the not so precious metals" should be a shirt

Shirts - test. Comfortable and warm. I like those.
Tried 5.11s, then Tactical Distributors for quite a few years (good but not durable enough).
Looked on UF Pro website and no stock. Looking forward to a reply from the company as to when they’ll get more. I dig the knee pad situation for I work as a contractor and cannot strap knee pads on due to a blood clot issue a few years ago. (That’s why TD pants worked well)
Thank for the vid. Very helpful, but one question, are they true to size? Do they run the same size as normal store bought? Need to know for EDC and conceal size took a few tries with other brands.
Love your channel.
I know where you're coming from. From everything else I've experienced, they seem true to size. I'm a 32/30 and sized up to 33/30 because (covid weight) and wanting to leave room to train with an appendix carry. No issues there. Super comfortable, fit great, and since this vid went live have already reached out asking to work with more gear. UFPro for life.
Congrats you have been selected among our shortlisted winners from our previous giveaway, Contact the number above ^^^^✅🎁🎉🎉✔️
They do run true to size and of a few years ago they added some larger sizes. The also have an amazing return policy so ordering 2 to choose between is NO hassle. I'm running 5 pairs now and love the fit.
Having all these guns laying around, it must be hard keeping track of them all. Especially when you set one down somewhere, set it and forget it, then think about another gun and deal with that and come back to the first gun you can’t find cuz you can’t remember where you put it
i love the coscto cargo pants but lmao everything you described about them is so true, always sewing the crotch area and try not to overload the pockets to reduce the flapping lmao. I have to get a pair of these!!!
I've got a few Wrangler 20 cargo pants, and I love them. After 6-8 months you'll lose a belt loop. The gusseted crotch is great and the materiel is decent.
And it didnt cost 2 tank of fuel either!.. You win friend

What do you think the best pair would be for very high temperatures? My diesel shop does not allow shorts and there’s not much air flow so in the summer it gets absurdly hot.
Do you wear them in your hips or on your waist? The problem I’ve ran into with my cryes is I typically wear my pants on my hips and their pockets and knee pads are just way too low.
I really didn't thought that you would ever do a video on just pants😂..
So what's next shirts?
Could we have a video on how to do stances with the rifles you don't need to show face but could we just see some popular stances?

Great vid. Are these their Coyote Brown or their "Kangaroo"? thanks.
Hi. Clawgear or Uf pro is the better quality?
Multicam flannels is a must for the tactical Canadian.
I used to carry a flashlight but stopped after about 6 months due to rarely using it. I hear so many people say they use their's every day, even multiple times a day. I could if one were say, a mechanic or something, or worked at night, etc., but if you guys don't mind, could you share some of the things you use your EDC flashlights for? Thanks.

5.11 pants last 10yrs and are near 100 bucks, if these last 10+ yrs, $200 isn't terrible. Cheap pants sometimes won't survive the year, costs more in the long run
Age is irrelevant. Wears and type of use is.
@@armandgun age when considering I'm overweight, and worked commercial fishing, oilfield, and as an electrician... i think i put my pants through hell
Gosh darn it, they discontinued the groin cooler model
Lapg battle rattle pants. $50. Best pants I’ve ever had. Similar to these UF pro pants but a little better laid out... and $150 cheaper.... and they are TOUGH!!
Very nice pants!
Beat pants hands down are Kitanica’s by far !!
Own 2 pair. Syria & Iraq They are easily the best pants Ive owned. WITH THAT SAID The elastic in the seat will fail first. then one by one the zipper pulls, then zippers themselves. 200 and now 235 dollars and neither lasted 2 years.
would love to order some of the UFPRO gear/clothing BUT not sure if they make anything in my size. I'm 6'5 290 lbs so long legs and arms. And 36/38 waist
Thanks for the video. I am going to order a pair of the shorts. Camo or black camo is the big question??
Multi cam black (aka mall crawler) camo all the way. These are daily drivers and I find mcb fits much better into work scenarios than straight up camo.

I want to try em, but I’m scared that I will destroy them in a short amount of time. I have issues with the groin blowing out of even super quality jeans (I have large thighs😭😭😭) and after 10-20 wears the inseams of the jeans are just completely gone
I like that crkt knife you have in the pocket

I'd also take a look at the 5.11 Stryke pants. I like the Velcro more on them than the zippers on these. Lots of the same features.
I have used the stryke pants for a year and they are comfy but they cracked in the groin after 9 months. Not impressed but they are made in China sooo.
5.11 doesnt have the groin cooling zippers though!
I've blown the crotch on three pairs of 5.11s. I'm lookingnfor the next level. Might try these next.
@@MexicanBagpiper96 I'm tired of shity pants I was looking at crye and these, 200 feels better than 400 dollars lol
@@jackjederstrombergman4987 Don't get me wrong, if I had cash to wipe my ass with, I would definitely drop it on a pair of Cryes for each day of the week just to flex. The G3s have come down in price in the last couple of years, but they're still $300/pair.
