*rare* hard luck bears new footage from italia in miniatura

this footage is from italia in miniatura, something intersting about this show is the fact that it runned on the original showtape for time, later it was given an showtape that was in italian. i can imagine a kid going there, hearing the english showtape and saying, "what the hell are they saying?" (in italian of course). this is something amazing, because this is actually (i think) the only time we can see the show running on the original showtape, besides of course the one that CEI made in 1979 for the show that was brought to the IAAPA. the other recordings from the show we have are in another language, except that recording from knoebels (but it was running on his own showtape).
and please don't make me talk about the condition of the show, i don't want to.

the fact that i have been to Italia in miniatura millions of times and only now i discover that there were hard luck bears makes me sad

What year was this recorded? Also interesting that they left the original show tape playing for so long, before sooner getting one in Italian.
the original video says it was recorde in 1991.
as for the showtape, i have no idea why did they leave the original one, the italian one was perfect.

This setup has no backdrop no props except the instruments and no curtians too this setup is unique

Something similar happened in the Brazil show, but they atleast replaced the props and curtains.

I can't tell if the masks are that degraded or if they never replaced the original hard luck bears masks.
most likely they're just kinda melted and dirty.
@@hardluckbearsfan8566 I wonder if CEI ever kept up maintenance for these older/international shows. Playcenter's show definitely did, although a bit poorly.
@@engenheirocaldasodocumenta6172 i don't think CEI went to fix any international show, i'm pretty sure they weren't gonna go to italy or brazil just to fix some robots. i'm pretty sure playcenter just took good care of their show.

Do any complete Hard Luck Bears shows still exist besides the retrofitted Chilean one? I really hope the Blackpool Show, and Calaway Park show (which was in the park up until 2001 and in PERFECT condition) are found one day.
Knoebels show still exists. And i wish calaway's and Blackpool show still exists, it Will be great to discover those.
@@hardluckbearsfan8566 That's good to hear - although I had heard through at least 2 or 3 independent sources that only Pete, Repete and Billy Boy exist and the rest of the characters/props were thrown out after a flood in 2018 or 2019? I hope this isn't true? I emailed Blackpool and Calaway, Blackpool didn't get back to me but Calaway did, unfortunately they do not know what happened to the show. Hopefully sold and not destroyed.
@@alancoleson5576 i'm praying that knoebels show did not got thrown out. And Is a pity that calaway doesn't know what happen to their show. And Blackpool Is never gonna answer, because the show Isn't there anymore, Is got sold to another park called frontierland i think, and the show location Is a mistery because it stopped running after the park closed.

I can clearly hear the clicking going on in the background. Is that always happening when the animatronics are moving?
yes, that's the air valves opening and closing, however you usually wouldn't be able to hear them because they're soundproofed, however seems like in this show that wasn't the case.
Some parts are said to be reused in the park
the parts were reused to create 3 animatronics that look out from the windows of a fake square in the park, the animatronics are a grumpy old lady, a mischievous child and a doctor, they are still present in the park today
