    Thank you for a great installation video. I'm sure it saved me at least 3-4 hours of do-overs when I'll be attempting the task this weekend. I can't believe Ford didn't provide any documentation with the manifold; yet with a relatively simple Ford CAI purchase, they include a 15-page illustrated instruction manual.

    Man, some people cant read dyno sheets, it´s not always about the peak gains....
    look at the great difference from HP an Torque from 2000rpm to 3000rpm (+50hp/30ftp) and once again at the huge difference starting at 4700rpm till the end. there is a difference of torque from 30 footpounds constant and 35whp at 6500rpm to a stock mustang. after 5000 rpm the voodoo bridge breaks the shit out of the car, especially after the point of 6700rpm. whp plus from 70hp and 50ftp. Halleluja!
    Thats definitly worth it and you keep your warranty and theres no bad tune on it, killing some carparts. With a deleted electronical speedlimiter you could hit in 5th gear 175 miles at 7500rpm not "just" 150. for a quick mile, it is also great thing, because you will hit 120 miles with no extra shift in 4th gear.
    In my opinion, this is a killer tune from ford performance, you will get a all new character out of the mustang.

      i'm glad I'm not the only one to see this, you saved me the having to explain it, plus the new red line is 7,500rpm with no head work, now if I knew what the price was, but the labor Ford charges is what I don't like..lol but many shops charge a lot anyways so not bad going with Ford for the warranty..

    Ive been waiting for this video for a while thanks LMR. yeah only 37hp but look at the peak gains! The stock GT runs out of steam and puts out 360whp at factory redline of 6700, after the stage 3 power-pack its still pulling harder for another 700-800 rpm to 7500rpm and 410whp with no lift shifting. Thats a 60whp gain up top with stock driveability. This would make a massive impact on a roll race. And you keep your factory ford warranty for 2k, im sold. I have a 15 GT pp when I get my tax return you will get a call from me LMR.

    LMR big question here..
    I just ordered the gt350 throttle body, and I got the Blowfish adapter unit that’s used to install it to the stock manifold.. however, I’ve decided to get the 350 manifold and do it all at once.. so do I still need to use the blowfish adapter? If not, is it still an option for me to use it, and have it act as a spacer? Thank you so much.

    • @axelsilvajr
      @axelsilvajr Před 6 lety

      If you didnt get an answer yet, no you don't need the blowfish adapter and no you cant use it as it wouldnt be the same connections. When you use the blowfish adapter its connecting the 87mm tb to the stock manifold because the tb wont fit without it, but on the 350 manifold it is already fit to take the 350 tb and it would be technically useless and probably won't fit

    There is something off on the stock reading as the HP and TQ do not intersect at 5252 rpm. Never seen a dyno graph that was not intersected at 5252 rpm. The 2nd graph is correct by comparison. Interesting don't you think?

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  Před 9 měsíci

      You can scale the graph in the dyno software to where the axis are "locked", thus shifting the intersect point of the horsepower and torque. This doesn't alter the results, but it change the look of the graph for a different visual of the horsepower and torque curve. For the stock run, we accidently "locked" the axis in the software. Mingo 70 They got this on a manual car on a dyno jet. You probably ran you auto car on a mustang dyno, not a dyno jet. Dyno jets always read higher than a mustang dyno. Also, your car is a auto, which means it has more drivetrain loss. If your car was indeed ran on a mustang dyno, and got 385whp, thats is not bad. I dyno’d my bone stock automatic 3:15 gear 2017 GT on a mustang dyno and got 337 whp. Mustang dyno would have been around 375whp. Here in cali they only have 91 octane as well.

      Adam Durando I took a screen shot of the dyno graphs made by LMR for the Power Pack 2 and 3 and analyzed them. The Power Pack 3 has more hp and torque in the low (below 3500) and high (above 5200) RPM ranges. The Power Pack 2 wins only in the mid RPM range. It's a matter of personal preference and hard to know which one is best for your driving style without trying both options. I installed the Pack 3 even though I'm not racing (yet!) because the stock car annoyed me with its low end power (mid-range was ok) and I thought that the power band was way too short for my personal liking. I have 3.73 gears, car does not feel sluggish in the mid-range. The sound at high RPM is glorious (Corsa Sport catback).

    might as well put that money towards a supercharger

      Superchargers cost around 5-6k and void the warranty. This is much less and does not void the warranty. So no, I'd rather not put that money towards a supercharger.

      roush and their roush supercharger is partnered with ford performance and if installed by an authorized ford dealer that sells roush products it will not void warranty.
