storywise, i'm not understanding how: 1. the video game that was supposed to take place in the 90's wasn't canon. 2. why people in-universe have such a hard time believing in ghosts? first movie, they saved New York and got stuck with a bill for the high-rise they destroyed. (as mentioned in the sequel.) then, Walter Peck, who inexplicably became mayor in 2024, wants to do everything in his power to shut them down, despite all the catastrophic events that have been happening since back in '84.
Yeah, I’m jealous because she not only becomes a Ghostbuster, but she gets to play with all the cool gadgets and wear the newly heavy-modified proton pack! Not to mention, ride the Ectomobile in a gunner’s seat! 👻😎

A lot of hardcore GB fans didn’t received GBFE quite well… they have to remember: 1984 was a totally different time compared to now, and the center core of the movie was Teamwork… them becoming a family… conquering evil together… though, I have to agree, part of script could have been better, as utilizing the OG cast more, especially Bill Murray, who brought on the nostalgia with his Peter Venkman wise guy attitude. Though all in all,it was what Ray said in GB2: “What a ride!” ❤️👻😎
