Yay, another placemat project!!! I love your tips and tricks too! I used one of your tips while making a t-shirt quilt kit for a friend (I'm not a quilter). Double sided sticky zipper tape to keep the quilt sandwiched in the sashing pieces! Worked like a charm!! Thanks again!😃

Hi Lorrie. I made a few bads a couple of month ago using two placemats as well. I wish I could send you a picture of the things I have made. Thank you for inspiration, now I can't stop sewing.
Watched a couple of these last night...decided to make one..I am close to 2 walmarts...one east and one west...my husband has to go east one day and west the next..I decided to check online to make sure they have them in stock...no such luck..both of them out of stock...so I am going to place a online order I guess...the last time I did that though, it took 3 weeks for it to arrive..it came from California , and my husband was fascinated watching the shipping route it followed..he said it was in 13 different states...oh well, it is on my to do list! Love your videos!

For the larger bag, when you do the box cut , is it 2.5 inch square as well? Thanks for sharing !
Yes. The squares and the sides are both 2.5”
I’m curious on this corner cut. If you cut at 2.5” won’t the seam make the finished length of this seam bigger than the 2.5” mentioned in the step where you are measuring for the side stitching?

Lorrie, in one of your videos you referenced a Dritz products that you ironed on to waterproof fabric. I can’t seem to find this anywhere.
Again just love you. I am learning so so much. I am a newbie and mean no disrespect, truly so please don’t be offended. I noticed that the name on the little bag is not centered and this has happened to me several times. Do you have any idea why this happens even though we lined up the center and the sides??
It’s totally my doing. I embroidered that one after I assembled and initially forgot to flip the name so I had to take the stitches out and redo it and by then I just put it in the hoop without my template. Clearly I was off lol
