I’m a single mom & I close on my first home in 43 days I’m excited however also a lil nervous about this big life decision. Trusting God to continue to bless what he’s blessing me with! Love this video
Yes, congratulations 🎊🎉 trust God & give him the glory. It is a big life decision take it in and remember to enjoy it.
This was very insightful and informative. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you for watching 💕
❤I purchased my home in the early 2000’s (as a single mom). I must say almost 17 years later it has been a lot of ups and downs. However, with the rent being so high now, going back to that is not an option. At the end of the day I would like to buy again but, with the high interest rates and the down payments; it’s not an option either at this time. I’m almost 50 years old so not sure what’s next for us… Thanks for sharing!❤
I’m sure it has a been a journey. One thing about the future we can’t predict it we can only prepare for today and try to make wise decisions. It’s a blessing to be able to hold down your home for 17 years. ❤️
I wish I had money to buy a home. I don’t want to rent forever but that’s the only way right now to have a roof over my head. This was a very interesting topic to discuss. I’m really enjoying your content :)
That’s the important part simply having a roof over your head these days is a luxury. That’s why I think the whole rent vs mortgage argument isn’t necessary.
I’ve made the executive decision to rent with my daughter. The amenities and security sold me 😩
It is a great decision. You have to put your wants and desires above all. I said when my daughter graduates I’ll probably move into a townhome.
Lovely video. Very informative and helpful thank you❤
Thank you for watching ❤️
Appreciate the breakdown as im considering home ownership
Thank you for watching 💕
Girl these taxes and home insurance have me in a chokehold and I literally cried the other day when I found out my home insurance went up yet again. As a single mom owning a home can be so overwhelming. But like you said, it’s not like it’s any better renting. I feel like a rock in a hard place. Send help. lol
Yesss! It can be. It’s like you can’t catch a break whether you rent or own both can be a headache. But we got this! 💕
Great insight. Buying a home is a task within itself. They're good investments (especially when its cold outside like where im located)but can be a headache. But at the end of it your possibly forgetting one thing. After buying and paying off a house. Some may have to get a roof. Which may be a lein placed on the property until its paid back. Unless you pay in cash because roofs with added home repairs can be an additional cost to the property. Owning is ok just paying taxes and insurance. But minor things could happen as well. And a leaky roof could cause thousands in damages and possibly force someone out of their investments. Thanks for the video. Ive commented before and said that it is better with multiple incomes. But multiple people could be a crowd. And who wants to open their home to strangers who probably won't respect the homeowner rules and or destroy their property out of anger. I feel you on not wanting to rent to a outsider. Congratulations. Stick with your goals, pay off your home. Do it for yourself Mercedes.
Yes, that’s why I wanted to mention many times that repairs will come about. They are going to happen Roof, HVAC, water heater all big time repairs that have to be considered. In the same breath you can consider your Equity and make repairs with earned equity in your home that you may have. It is going to happen but my sentiments still stand. With anything you own in this life you will hold the responsibility of taking care of. Thank you for watching as always 💕
