    I have been using an anchor trip mechanism in the Greek Islands for over 20 years every time I have to use it it near by yachts remark”what did he just Do” excellent device you can get them at most chandler shops.

    sometimes you cannot lift the other chain as high as in this case. So you have to jump into the water, perhaps diving a little bit and fix the line.

    Funny that they left rope cleated off to the other vessel’s anchor chain…..
