So much life to live and we're having so much fun doing it. Back in the city and it's cold but making the best of it with the little guy. Preston is growing so much and his personality really starting to shine through.
Excited to give him some of the toys I had as a kid, and just really hang with him as he grows.

After completing a full renovation - my house was down to the studs, you’re looking at at least 10 weeks - maybe longer. There’s no way all that will be done in 5 weeks. Plus, final inspection from the city. It will be gorgeous when it’s done.
Renovations started on our home September 2020, our house was supposed to be done June 2021, we didn’t finish until late November 2021.

Just loving how Preston collabs with his Dad on the sponsorship, that was too cute. I can't believe noon sirens still exist. You have got to be kidding me. Wow, first his childhood toy, then the noon sirens. I always thought my mom was the only mom who saved everything. My mom saved everything. Our report cards and school assignments all the way back to kindergarten. All our clothes, all our toys. I'm still traumatized because she allowed her grandson to tear up our Barbie dolls (you guys know how much money those 1960's dolls are worth 😲).This vlog took me back to when I was five or six years old, growing up in the PNW.
I am just as ready as you guys to see you all moved in. This has been a long process, which at times must have felt never ending given the pandemic. Can't wait to see the whole thing all done and lived in. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Have a blessed day!!!

I don’t know if I’d have the patience to drive 4/5 hours back n forth from the Hamptons to NYC. Once I’m in the Hamptons with the beautiful home you have, I don’t wanna go anywhere for awhile lol 😂 Your city home renovations is coming along so nicely! We’re expecting another nor’easter this weekend in our yard. I’m in NJ, 40 minutes outside of NYC to be exact. Stay safe y’all!
Know exactly how you feel. Grew up in Monmouth Co. summering at our grandparents place out east. When they died things had so changed out there it just wasn’t doable any longer unless one of us moved out there full time. Traffic was insane.
Yea that drive back and forth sounds like torture lol. I could barely stand driving from my place in union county down to the shore.
@@chippies121 The traffic has gotten way worse in the NY/NJ area over the last 10 years. It’s non stop. Not just rush hours. My brother lived in Lincroft & to get to his beach club in Sea Bright, 12 miles took over an hour on a Saturday. Insane
@@samanthab1923 that’s madness!! 12 miles in an hour sounds so off-putting. But you’re right. Traffic has definitely gotten worse.

I actually had one of those dogs when I was a kid. It’s called Mr Wrinkles mine had overalls and a lighter brown color.

Love how the place is coming along. Plans to put windows in Preston’s room?
It’s in NYC. That depends on the structure and architecture of the buildings. Some buildings only have windows on one side of the building. Especially, if it’s a old building. If Preston’s bedroom faces the rear of the Apt, windows may be unlikely due of other walls attached. They can do this with a house where walls can be torn out and install windows. But with old buildings in NYC, oftentimes don’t have a lot of room nor choice to tear off a wall. But then again, none of us really know what the entire structures of the building looks like. Notice they have glass atrium windows with glass roof. I believe that’s the only window they have for the building they live in. This is how NYC really is. Many buildings are very old and sit very closely next to other buildings. Limited space and a lot of restrictions that comes with permits to renovate the home. Brendon mentioned last year that a pipe in the home ceiling hallway somewhere cannot be removed because that belongs to NYC. It’s attached to the city.
Yes it's as NYC is. This apartment will be so amazing in any way as it's possible to work with special lights😍 And they still have the house in the Hamptons to spend time outside. NYC is what city life is and I think it has its own attraction to live there🙂

Be careful if the stuffed dogs eyes are buttons baby’s can pull them out and swallow them and then we have problems. Best to have cloth eyes sewn in. It’s a really cute dog and Preston has really grown up and he is as cute as can be……

Hey! I just want to give you some friendly car seat advice. I’m a child passenger safety tech, it’s impossible for me not to! Big bulky or puffer coats aren’t safe to wear in the car seat, they make it impossible to get the harness tight enough. I always recommend putting the jacket on backwards over the straps. 😃

I saw a TikTok explaining the siren that goes off at noon. Apparently the backstory has been "mysteriously" wiped off the internet, but a woman explained this story from her great-grandmother: white people were allowed to get up and run their errands first thing in the morning, and black people would have to wait until they heard the siren at noon, which meant they were allowed to leave their homes and shop.
My brother and I both had dogs exactly like that, growing up! Any chance that your parents bought him at Village Square in Burlington, Ontario...?
