I’m glad Jay invited him to the couch! That was a special significant moment to be invited to the couch after you performed! I’m glad Jay did that & Ed deserved that kind of recognition!
Little did he know.. that same year.. this song would take on new meaning.. Beautiful song.. still crying 2023. R.I.P. 9/11… should see the church version…God please never that happen again..
You could really notice by the way they were speaking after the song that nobody really knew what direction the world was heading in and I don't know if it's just me but I feel the world still feels that way even after all these years sadly
I have to mention something very true about this song and also the song Merica about September 11th. Both of these songs were released before September 11th. Both songs prophesied September 11th lyrically.
I’ve been a huge Live fan since the early 90s and the eerie thing about the V album is it’s original release date was 9-11-01. My buddy & I had this house & we would check the Live band website & they had song clips on it & videos plus a countdown clock to the rehearse date. They pushed it back to 9-18 release date, but I do remember Jay Z had the Blueprint album coming out that day too plus a few other good albums.
@@patrickwhelpley1745 9/11 really was one of those incidents or moments that made you not only remember what happened but what was happening around that time it happened if that makes sense.....
Haha! You made me realize I must have a type Im attracted to, cause I think they are both so hot!! I think its when they have short hair though. Saw Live in concert twice, and Con Air blew me away! Both very talented guys.
Holy shit! Never saw this version of my favorite Live song. God he crushed it
Ed is a beast. Vocal thunder, I met Eddie a few times, great dude.

@@manuelmagro9173 This song was written in 1997 and performed long before 9/11 happened.

Wow the song fits so perfectly with 9/11 I actually thought it was written for 9/11.
Ed looks like a dark-haired Phil Collins ("We Can't Dance" era) with that hairstyle.

Ed had Hair?
Watch some of the early 90s videos for the first two albums. He shaved his head I think for I alone video.
Yep, shaved his head and had a ponytail. Used to be into Buddhism, then came back to Christ.
Why does he shave his head?
Ed's biggest fan is Ed LOL
I like him bald better.
