- There's a couple marines near the beginning of floodgate that you see fighting flood in the distance and then moving off camera never to be seen again. Let's find out what actually happens to them and whether we can save them or not if they do need saving.

Thomas Burkhart same and I've played that mission hundreds of times. I did however know about the marines in the beginning off to the side.
I actually knew this already but in typical GeneralHeed fashion he showed me something I never knew, that small battle outside the map

I believe there's an extremely rare dialogue in the mission 'Halo' in Halo CE, now this wasn't on MCC I think it was either on the PC or original Xbox, and it's right after you rescue the first batch of marines where Cortana asks Forehammer (Foehammer idk) to rescue the marines, but I remember once Johnson actually said that line instead of Cortana, this may be extremely common I don't honestly but I've only ever heard of it once.
Something similar happened to me, when I first played halo 2 on original Xbox. On the first mission I remember after killing the first wave, a group of marines would argue while picking up a dead jackals sheild and then turn it off, while Johnson would say "shut it down marines", and when I replayed the game years later that wasn't a scripted part anymore
FreelosoFur to do that you have to make sure Johnson's alive after you saved them

I remember back in the day I went in theater mode and saw the Flood forms run past the Marines, the Marines dropped dead like someone snapped their necks.

I've actually seen the marines kill at least one of the Brute combat forms without me interfering. It was pretty cool to see!

Hey GeneralHeed, can you do a video about trying to kill the Spartans in the end game cutscene of them standing in formation in matchmaking. One time the game ended and the cutscene played as normal but a stray grenade hit near them and took out some of their shields, I'm curios as to what would happen if they got killed or not. Whenever I was playing Floodgate one time and whenever you see those Marines turn into flood because of bunch of infection forms come down on them from the roof I did actually save a few of them by throwing a grenade but it was in a certain spot to where they got hurt but they didn't die.
I've heard the dialogue about the good Sargent a lot
Only once i saved both Marines that were behind the sandbags where u normally would go where tons of mariners that were killed and infected

You can get out of the map another way but all that you find is flood body parts and 2 dead Marines. Until watching this video, I didn't know that those Marines were ever alive though.

I have the MCC on my xbox one and I have barely managed to save a group of marines past the first encounter with the flood.

mecha spinozilla: I'm referring to solo mode, solo spawns 5. Coop spawns 2. If the first group of elites dies then a second group spawns at the end. I wanted to if you can rig it to have both sets spawn.

Yes I've done that before I've saved all the Marines actually the beginning what are you go to the edge and save them but after that I have no idea what happens or where they go I don't know they're going somewhere in the beginning we never really see them there anymore Marines there.

I noticed the marines on floodgate when i was playing the full game on heroic difficulty.
I answered this before you. Using theater mode. The just die and get infected (you don't see them get infected through)

I always try and keep the allies alive, I get so attached😂
Noah Clark They did do a video on an infinite marine glitch on Halo 3, but unfortunately you can't take them through the mission with you.
At the end of the storm you can have an army of construction workers and a few marines with you I think that's the biggest number of infantry you can have
in tsavo highway you can get around 15? saving everyone + the warthog driver that usually dies to the chopper
I started playing halo 3 again, and I've been living under a rock, but how do you get the Recon armor in halo 3 without the Vidmaster achievements ( my internets not fast enough for 4 player online co-op)
DonkeyMan USA it's impossible to get recon unless you already have it, it's no longer possible and the vidmasters are pretty useless

GeneralKidd, that audio log is rare and the girl and man talking in that Audio Log was the 2 survivors from the Halo Flood film on CZcams called Mona Lisa, the girl was a the medic the boy was a scared marine. What's good about that is they killed their Sergeant which is a girl but I forgot her name that got infected by the flood.
