    Your swords were probably dieing back because the duckweed blocked out the light🤔

    I put those root tabs in a couple weeks ago and before that my swords were doing awful. Now I have a ton of new growth . I had like 5 new shoots come on one over night. They must work

      The same thing in my tank I have a red melon sword When I first got it most of the leaves died back except for three When I put the Flourish root tabs in my tank it seemed like it went from three leaves to over a dozen leaves within a week to a week and a half and the leaves are bright red💯🌱💙🔥

    tabs will eventually dissolve and go up into the water column.. also liquid water column ferts will work its way into the substrate. so either way all plants get fed

    I've used these in the past and when I pulled all the plants out 6 months later the root tabs looked the same. They never dissolved or changed one bit. Were they bad? Is that normal? I used aq coop easy tabs in my 90g angel tank with crypts , lace and another bulb plant all the plants got huge.

      Same story here,never dissolve or change,and plants don’t grow well, don’t recommend

  • @mitchstavely1

    I hope flourish tabs work for you. I'm scared to use them again in any of my tanks. I used this product and all my grown corydoras died by the next morning along with several tetra's. also, my Angels, rams, and mollies didn't seem to be doing very well. I had to do a 70% water change and vacuum the gravel. My fish have recovered and now I'm doing fine. I was using API tabs without any issues. I am not sure exactly what happened. The only conclusion is that my pH and Iron content went too high and affected mostly the Cory's. I'm just not sure... I did make sure to put them deep in the gravel also.

    its gonna leach. its not like there is a barrier between water and substrate.. the water doesn't just stop at the gravel, it circulates through it. How do you think the substrate gets wet?

    • @UnemotionalBandit
      @UnemotionalBandit Před 2 lety

      Yes it will leach but very slowly. There is a very small amount of water circulation in the substrate
