It might be possible Yoji has trouble cleaning the bottom half of his body which might be why baths need to be done once in a while.

He is pretty mild, for a cat getting his first shower. I remember when I gave my girlfriend's cat a shower. His name was Photon. He had fleas, so I had to give him a bath and de-flea him. He * HATED * the water! I had to wear a winter coat, so he would not scratch up my arms. I was as nice as could be, and I told him, "Sorry Photon, but we have to take care of those nasty fleas." He screamed and yowled and kept trying to get away. And * EVERY TIME * I gave him a shower, he waited until I was asleep. And then he ran across me! He was such a rascal.
Oh I don't think they forget either. My cousin had huge feet and would walk really fast, stomping behind my cat, scaring her. He came over one day and chased after her with those big boots. about 2 weeks later he came over and was standing on the stairs, out of nowhere my cat stuck her paw through the banister, reached down and swatted him on top of his head 😂 I told him it was pay back for chasing her with those boots!
