Very true...me and my husband is having 45 lac package combindly (15+30)and we have our home in NCR..we moved to USA with 100k salary 6 months back and i hv to leave my job being on h4.
This is the worst decision of my life ..i feel useless here..i have strong family support in india...we have 4 year toddler .
I feel alone here.. can't go back at once as we have rented out our home..and everyone paid cost in shifting..thankfully visa is for 2 years only..and 6 -7 months already passed..
I am so sorry to hear that. It's so difficult when you are unable to work! I hope it gets better and in the meantime I hope you find some volunteering opportunities to build skills and keep you busy! Best of luck!
With time you will get comfortable with usa
@@baraks7487she has moved later in life .. she won't be able to get truly comfortable..
Take this opportunity and convert to f1
Relatable 😊
Hello, can you pls guide me on my below query.
I got H1B visa in year 2023 and it's valid from Jan 23- Dec 26. But due to some family issues I could not yet travelled to USA and I am still in India.
Can you pls guide as H1B approved inJan 23 but I coudnt travelled till April 24 (approx 1.5 years). Is this time period wasted from my total 6 years H1B approval period. Can I anyhow request this 1.5 years once I am in usa and it will get added in my stay period OR its wasted completely. Pls clarify.
No it is not lost you will get entire 3 years+ 3 years total of 6 years to stay in US and you will be H1B cap exemption
I live in pune and I have 44LPA now my company is sending in Raleigh NC with 125k per year. Shall I say yes or decline this offer.
@@mtechfarmer90 it depends right? If you are single and want to explore another country and think that there are growth opportunities by moving to the US then go ahead. If you are married and will come on H1 then your spouse won't be able to work. Take all of that into consideration and come to a decision. Raleigh is also a relatively small town so that should also be considered.
Quality of Life is so much better in the states in my opinion. Even if I would earn less than in India, I live a quite, peaceful life with no constant chaos, better work culture, society not constantly judging you. I breath clean air, live near nature/ close access to lakes, hikes, etc and still get access to so many research as well as job opportunities. My kids will get free education till the end of high school + the education system provides a holistic development of a child rather than forcing a pupil to cram 10 pages and vomit the same on exam. It makes no sense with hundreds of kids suiciding every day from parental and peer pressure in India.
What do you do if you are an only child from a nuclear family?
My wife lottery picked in 2023 and mostly she will be travelling in September 2024 with 82K USD to Dallas and everything is from their current company (TCS). My lottery got picked this year from consultancy. My current package in India is around 50LPA. I have to leave my job and start fresh in US. Do we have to move US now?
Having returned from abroad after living there for 13 years I would very seriously rethink moving to the US (given your current package) especially if your main motive for moving there is financial.Good luck with your decision
Job market in usa is very bad now. Think twice before leaving 50 lpa Job in india . After coming here you will regret sure
Stay in india and send your kids to the USA for education
Nice video.
I am 36 and is settled in India with a combined package of 40 lpa. I have got a us offer and H1b for 140k usd. My company is even ready to try for L1B also.
Is it a good decision ?
L1B is not a bad option but depends on the kind of person you are. Do you feel comfortable uprooting your well settled life in 🇮🇳 to rebuild your life in 🇺🇲 because you love new challenges and want to experience something new ? Are you okay spending a couple of years figuring out to see what you like but it's not going to be very smooth?
It depends to which city ur moving??
one vedio for unskilled labour job in USA...
Usa ke saath India ki comparison krna matlab maruti suzuki ki Lamborghini se comparison krna
40 lack now company offering 120k in austin should i move or not??
I think its your personal decision don't just chase money , chase happiness , are u happy in India ? then why leave ? if not then you can take a chance !
Moving to Seattle in next month on H4 dependent visa. I am 34 yrs. in mId Career. What to do?
What do you mean?
@@itsokyaaar I am in mid career of having 9 yrs . What should I do. Should I wait for H4 EAD or enroll for course. Please suggest.
That's the struggle i'm juggling with since my h1b visa got picked
Let us know what you end up deciding ..best of luck 😀
me too struggling for decision
US current market is bad ..
@@Headchopperr totally agree! It's difficult to break through in the current market!
Am going through the same dilemma..
Got h1b picked not sure if I should go for it have family income of somewhere 75L in tier1 city
Ask the guys in their 40s at the US. They will give an unbiased advice.
True..but then not many people in their 40s are trying to move to the US from India. At least that's our understanding.
What % of people in india are getting 30LPA , Let me know then we can compare it with $100k USD. Making $100k is much more easier than 30LPA in india
Depends on the industry you are looking at. Tech definitely pays that much in India
@@itsokyaaar Lol, Tech is the only industry that people in india can imagine of making 30LPA , Dont even think of other industries. But as i asked what % of people are making 30LPA in their entry or Mid level careers and how complex is the interview process compared to that of in USA. But earning $100k in early or Mid level career is much more achieveable in U.S
@@manoj_m0393 according to survey in 2016 ~2.6million people earn 30 lakh per annum. Assuming it would have grown quite a bit by now.. ~ no. Indian immigrants in the US are ~4-5 million..
@@itsokyaaar what do you mean by no indian imnigrants are 4-5 million you meant to say total population by number?, if yes, for sure there won't be 40-50lakh indians living here ,But who ever individual is working in Tech , everyone of earning bare minimum salary of $80k - $85K I don't know what survey are you talking about, pls mention the source of your information.Among that 2.6 million it includes all the people who are earning 30LPA ranging from 0 yrs to 10+ yrs, of you compare the population , number of people working in the IT industry, no of people graduating every year that doesn't seem to be a very fenstatic number.
@@manoj_m0393 it means number of Indian immigrants in the US are ~4-5 million
Iam Bangladis
Hard to understand her.
30 lakh pa in India is life that is atleast factor 2 better than anywhere in USA - fact.
A call that BS. Life isn't just money. Like the other person said here, "$100K in USA gives a much better life in terms of quality. You breathe in much cleaner air, you eat a lot better food, you drive on much nicer roads and have access to much better infrastructure overall. 30LPA in India is good only if you completely own your home without loan, live with your parents or live in a smaller city. Otherwise 30LPA doesn't go too far in big cities in India. Start factoring in expenses such as School fees, etc which are free in western countries and you'll realise why millions of Indians move or want to move overseas and they will continue to do so. Raising a family in India is extremely difficult and thus people move out. (Unless you're linked to BJP or have huge business) Salaries have undoubtedly gone up in India but so have the expenses."
Your actual quality of life WILL always be better in the US regardless of your earning. Even Ambani got her daughter the US citizenship for a reason lmao. All these ultra riches like Vikas Khanna, etc have moved to the US asw. If you call "exploiting cheap labor" a good quality of life then we are not on the same page lmao.
@@awesomedude4428 Rich have global passport. Did she got settled in USA? Wake me up when she gets settled in USA. Parts of Oakland, Philadelphia, LA and San Francisco are filthier than Dharavi - fact. If you went there you will puke to death on quality of life when passing through those areas. Infact you can develop PTSD by culture shock and life quality. If you want to be like cat buying head in sand and want to tell me everything is good, I am sorry videos don't lie and neither it is US movie. US exploits more than Bharat. A million highly skilled people dangled and go through trauma every few years on visa renewal gets exploited by American firms who sponsor them and most of them are in a 100 year citizenship line. America is a broken place - fact.
Her granddaughter not daughter lol🤡. And it was amabani's son's decision. Not Ambani's.@@awesomedude4428
