    Hey Ace! Thanks for the video- great review. I love the sublimated patch too. What are your thoughts on this hat press after a few months of use?

      Still going strong, love it!!! A good investment on my part, my Amazon press did what it had to do but it wasn’t the greatest so I was always looking to upgrade to something better which I was able to do.

      @@Mrotg2u Awesome! Glad to hear it! Seems like a great unit. I especially like the softer bottom platen. I'm just getting started so may grab one of these! I'm wondering - does this need a dedicated 20 amp breaker and/or a dedicated outlet?

    Hey looove that hat! I’m just getting started in the game and as you suggested I’m starting with hats but what I’m trying to find out is this good for bucket hats and soft tshirt material slouchy hats if not what one would you suggest? Also I’m looking for a person or supplier who can create those tranfers like the one you just did with black images until I can purchase the machinery nec to create my own if you don’t have a supplier would you be interested to create and sell me in quantity?

  • @naturalhealthrevolution1518

    Yo big homie....Can you print on the sides of rhe hat like the Hotronix 360 press? How much can you rotate to the side to print there too?

    nice review, worth the like & subscribe. I took a peek at their site(they can never seem to keep things in stock), do you know if they discontinued it? Thanks.

      @Mrotg2u  Před 2 lety +1

      I don’t know if they are discounted or not since I ordered a lot I never went back to check. But they have similar ones on Amazon for sure.

    Do you ever have issues with the hats getting creased or folded? I have this press and my hats are constantly getting creased in the middle at the top of the crown. Dad hats and truckers aren't too bad but structured hats never turn out good. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong

    • @Mrotg2u
      @Mrotg2u  Před rokem +1

      Yeah I have that problem in the past as well. I purchased a heat resistant silicone pad from which helped a bit

    Can you buy bigger platens for the hat press?

    • @Mrotg2u

      I believe the platen is not interchangeable. But it should fit all sizes of hats

    does the lower platen heat up?

  • @naturalhealthrevolution1518

    What about the fact that you cant change platens to press smaller hats? You are stuck with the bottom platen only

    • @Mrotg2u
      @Mrotg2u  Před 2 lety +2

      As I mentioned earlier it’s good for the price. If you got $1600 to spend on a hat press then it’s a no brainer to purchase but for most people just starting out the Wala cap press will work as best as you can make it work as it is with any other piece of machinery. Always going be some type of limitation but you just got to make it work.

  • @PassionPainNDemonsStreetwear

    Hey any tips for creases in hats?
    I also have the same hat press, any tips would be helpful!

      Hey did you ever find any solution to this? I have this heat press and I've had a terrible time with creases and folding in the hats, especially in the middle at the top. I bought some small heat press pillows but they don't seem to help

    • @PassionPainNDemonsStreetwear
      @PassionPainNDemonsStreetwear Před rokem

      @@_JellyDonut_ you want to place the small heat press pillow more toward the top of your hat where you’re getting the crease and fold at
      And you don’t need a lot of pressure when pressing the hats

    • @_JellyDonut_
      @_JellyDonut_ Před rokem +1

      @@PassionPainNDemonsStreetwear Ok thanks, that's what I've been doing with the pillow so I think I must be using too much pressure. Appreciate the feedback
