Only Tech YES can get a 4090 on a budget.
Only?
@@BrandonWestfallYeah ONLY, no one else 🙄.
only aussies are part of UK
I got a 3080 for $330 a couple days ago, I thank my Tech Yes tutelage
@@jpryor8102nice find
The 4090 PC is a bargain. Also, Season 4 when 🤔
I will see how I go, keen to reboot!
Wait until the 15th gen intel/zen5 + 5090 is a thing lol.
@@user-hr4hu8xb5f That's the time it would make the most sense
@@techyescity can’t wait for season 4!
Iknow the start is a grind but thats the most fun and are the most fun builds to watch! Slapping some old hunk of junk together 😜
This deal would have been swept up in minutes over here. Awesome score Bryan.
Man, that dude sounds like a real bro. Friendship and a fair priced high end pc? That's amazing.
Checked our local Dutch market. 3000 aus = €1900 euro. Cheapest 4090 is €1400. Cheapest 13900 is €500. Which adds up to €1900. So you basically bought the Case, Cooler, SSD, RAM, PSU and motherboard for almost €0 = an amazing deal 👍.
Nice math skills your teacher is proud
Die berekening klopt niet helemaal chef🤣
@@OGruurd iets te snel berekend denk ik. De conclusie blijft natuurlijk hetzelfde.
Waar haal je een 4090 voor €1400?
@@user-kp5nl6cy5d tweakers vraag & aanbod of marktplaats 👍
You are right: The 13900 KS is known for getting way too hot.
I just read a test from ComputerBase, a German tech site. Theirs reached 101°C during testing using an AiO, Intel's product page lists up to 100°.
And what a journey. I am partly said that this series comes to an end, but also happy that you have time for other projects now.
Great job! And I've been working in the IT sector for about 20 years, but played mainly with servers.
Yeah the 13900k gets warm if you are doing artificial multicore benchmarks but gaming it’s not bad… a good 240 aio will easily get you buy . People really over exaggerate the power useage of Intels newest CPUs they are higher than AMD but they are also monolithic and able to be cranked to the max if that’s what you choose to do.
Or you can undervolt it and have great performance and 90-95% of the performance …
Both options are great nowdays finally but I’d still take the Intel myself and I’ve had ryzens also.
Old Net/Sys Admin here... On that WIFI card, try turning off WIFI POWER-MANAGEMENT to see if that eliminates the signal dropouts. I've ran into this problem on Linux systems numerous occasions.
Brian getting those 4090s to play DOTA 2 🤣.Great video Brian you got an awesome offer there with that PC! 🙂👍
Man that last pc for 2k$ is a real steal of the century!
I agree with that last section of the video. Nowadays it's kinda rare for PC flippers to give an extended warranty/guarantee on the systems. I've been learning and improving my services and I also give a year guarantee to everyone that buys from me. Sometimes some of our local stores don't even offer warranty on their new hardware, or they just redirect the cause of the problem towards the buyer (had quite a few people come to me, seeking help because the company wouldn't fix their stuff within the warranty period).
My favorite episode was the 1st one from this flip up series. I always love seeing the beginnings of new series, kinda sets the phase for the upcoming episodes.
Bryan !!!!! Make sure that 4090 has a GPU Support under it, to prevent PCB cracks.
Genuinely good advice
i think it has one, i see a bracket screwed into the graphics card at the back
Thanks ! I did not see that.@@amphyanthony3482
Yeah it does have one! I do make sure of this on the oversized rtx 4080 and 4090 cards
@@techyescityIt seems to be any 30 and 40 series card made by Gigabyte need to have protection against cracking as Gigabyte put circuits through the PCI-E key area of the PCB. Bonkers what they did.
Also a bit unrelated, have you ever had bad experiences due to the warranty you offer? Like, people coming to you for software issues thinking it's the hardware's fault, peoppe installing new GPUs with weak PSU, people breaking stuff while cleaning/upgtading etc
Not Brian, but I do the same thing. I have a warranty on the Desktop that has restrictions for the buyer during the warranty and also lock down the bios during the warranty period with a password. All upgrades are free labour during the warranty period if performed by me.
I managed to score an Alienware 4090 on Marketplace for $1100 USD in June of 2023. Stress tested and did the deal at Starbucks! I was also extremely skeptical at that price. He just needed the money I guess and I paid the asking price. Congrats on the amazing bargain!
hearing a bishu song on a TYC video was a crossover I never expected. a man of the people and for the people. you're a gem Bryan!
*Yo that's a steal for a 4090 machine*
Got a challenge for you, very interesting nowadays.
Build the Greenest and Best Pc ratio price/performance with Market's Prices.
( Remember those days when Components had Green label on it )
Price of energy is so high now, that it is part of the cost, Period !
yawwwwww dude nice work.
damn. nice flip up!
Well done mate, great series. Already looking forward to the next one.🤙
Wowowow what a great deal! Cant wait for season 4! Keep up the great content, love the flip videos!
Amazing deal you got here, congratulations. You should totally do a follow-up video trying to get that 13900K cooler. I imagine one of those Thermalright contact plates would already help a lot, or even a delid!
Tech YES learned me into a Gigabyte RTX 3080 for $330 a few days ago. Thanks for the tutelage Brian
I also had an issue with Media-Tek BT/WIFI module, after finding the most elusive driver ever it works fine...this is on a Asrock Extreme Z690...no issues for weeks now, awesome vid mate.
2:50 what a drop 💃🕺🕺
Season 4: Get a custom watercooled, top-end gaming PC with OLED monitor and full peripheral set... that will keep it going forever, and I love this series!
Over the years, inspired by TYC, I've upgraded my own PC with money made from the hustle. My market is a lot slower, and it's only a hobby. But I've got a sweet system now, without using my salery or savings, beyond the first 100-200 AUD (converted). That's Tech Yes Magic, and I'm loving it!
That was an amazing deal, glad that worked out so nicely. This series has been a ride for sure.
Absolutely amazing series. Made me seriously consider getting back into flipping.
Absolutely love this series , I prefer tech yes over every CZcams tech channel. I feel like in this economy there isn’t a channel more in touch with the viewer base. Not everyone has a ton of money to do this stuff so the low middle and higher classes are all covered here. Kudos from America and thanks for the content!
W series! This is what hard work and hustling does!
BTW, AftershockPC's origins came all the way from Singapore then expanded to down under Aussie. My current PC with a ryzen 7500F and 4070 Super is also from there. Even won a Laptop from a random Raffle in 2013.
Yep, things have been a super struggle to flip PC's for me too. Not only do I guarantee the system, I offer free labor on future upgrades for as long as they own the system, but people here don't seem to care. I'm not sure what to do at this point outside of taking a loss on the systems.
The newer stuff is cool but I really like how you make the older systems run amazing on new games/software. I don’t flip per se, but I do what you do and I enjoy testing the systems and tweaking them to run smoother. It also helps that my main clientele is my mother in law and my wife…..it’s good to have a tech in the family that doesn’t charge them ridiculous prices to fix stuff. I have the resources so I use them.
If I was you, I would contact back the first buyer and change the power supply with the one you still have in stock.
I would have like to see the final build made with different deal instead of buying a pre build, it fits more the spirit of the serie imo.
Great serie, really like it !
Thank you for this insane journey!
Such an amazing video, the vibe of just going around doing a deals hunt and meeting people is what it’s all about. Oh and also insanely good deals! :)
This was a good hustle series. Hope to get more videos like this.
You legend, you king of the 99%. You scored big time, well done, congrats. God loves you man.
This video was so much fun, watched it 3x, what a boost, thx man.
great video series . i hope you keep making videos like this
Great series 😀😀😀😀👍👍
Loved it when 4090's come with a whole PC! xD
Fantastic season and great finale; congrats on that incredible deal!
I really recommend Rufus when installing Windows. Rufus has options to remove the selection guff.
Love the content as always.
Best series on CZcams :D Can't wait the next season!!!
Bryan - it's called petrol!
Also, I've noticed after nearly 2 months of not selling a single PC, I've sold 4 in the last week and past customers are hitting me up for more (probably helps that school holidays are starting soon down here in Vic). Definitely a roller coaster. Just gotta ride it!
Talk about rocking up to a crazy deal to end the season. These kinds of deals is the reason to always have an eye on the used market.
GGs , you keep delivering.
I really hope you keep this PC you earn it , and i bet it will feel real good every time you look at it and remember the journey.
Ended on a banger! Great stuff yes man!
What a deal. My son spent $4000 USD building a 4090 PC about 6 months ago. He went with top-end everything, but still...
Well done mate. Agree this has been a fantastic season of the flip up challenge.
This was so great to follow. 👍
Let me give you a tip for cleaning your computers. Get a small air compressor at least 25 liter and a blow gun with a cheap inline water filter so you dont hose your pc with water and you can clean a pc in about 30 seconds. You will be amazed how fast you can clean a pc with good air pressure. You also need to make sure that you drain the water out of the compressor every week or so. That little duster thing that you use does nothing compared to a compressor. You can get a small compressor for like 100 bucks
Nice BRYE, More power to your BUILDS and your Channel.
Demonstrates you really have an advantage if you have your mind on the market and are monitoring prices and new deals advertised very closely. Years ago picked up a BMW X5 4.4lt Sports for a fantastic price doing exactly these things. Swear it was the cheapest X5 at that spec in the country!
👍🏻 Nice pickup Brian. I picked up a 3900x with a 3080ti / dual rads liquid cooled CPU and GPU / custom water block / 32 gb Gskill Trident Z Royal / Coolermaster C700M Full Tower with curved glass / 1000 watt 80+ platinum PSU / Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero MB / Barrowch coldplate / Windows 11 Pro ………… $2200.00 Canadian.
Congrats, Brian. Fantastic deal and it's surprising how fast you managed to flip up to it!
Mediatek Bluetooth and wifi adapters do have problems. I'm a pc builder myself, and run into the problem with Windows 11 and drivers not playing nice. They do work well on Windows 10, but still have the intermittent signal drop from windows drivers. I love seeing these bargains and wish you luck on your future finds. Keep up the great content!
You can’t beat the 4090 flip. It wins hands down………but I would swap that motherboard out to get $1000 upsale.
great hustle!
Congrats on completing the flip up challenge in such spectacular fashion. Maybe for next season you could try working in getting a suitable monitor into the flip up challenge, that would be worthy of the end computer. Like in this one, with a 4090 for gpu pairing it with the best monitor you can get as well.
standing behind your product proves confidence of what youre providing,it constitutes legitimacy -very well done sir
Mmmm, beautiful Greenbank military training area. You’re flaring up my PTSD
3:19 MONEY SHOT! Fun episode and series. Good stuff.
Damn.
Just damn.
That is the best deal I've ever seen on a 4090.
Nice going Mr. Tech YES Man.
In 10 years do another flip up using this system as the beginning. Keep the flip flipping
This pc deserves a better mboard and ram like 6400 cl32 at least, and since it's a prebuild probably a better nvme as well.
nice find. next season 4090 pc to a car or boat! lol
thats a interesting idea
Season 4 !!!!! And go !!!
Offers are offers, is why i decided to get my monitors couse i got third for free, and these were a thing in my mind, but not in a rush.
Idea is to have a list what you would buy instantly when they pop up anywhere, no regrets.
I own multiple computers, i would have need for multiple monitors, is just annoying to keep switching with the one monitor.
congrats!
Great deal!
congrats, I am proud of you and all the hard work you got up to here, props you to man 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hard 😂
You lucky bastard!
You should continue and eventually purchase a house, then a building
This pc might be sluggish because of e-cores. Try disabling them
Top Job Brian :-)
I bought a 12900k to replace my 3950x and ended up going back to my 3950x on Windows 10 because the system felt sluggish on Windows 11 with the 12900k, I've since moved to a 7950x. I can run an Arch VM, render a 4k video, watch a movie on one monitor while playing a game at 1440p still managing 140FPS, the 12900k couldn't do that. I thought I could relegate the E cores to VM's but turns out VMWare and Virtual Box don't like those E cores, it will work but the VM becomes unstable and very sluggish. I moved my 3950x off to a VM server and use my old 1950x for my Truenas NAS with Ubuntu Server in a Docker and Jellyfin, those E cores are simply useless. AMD has been good to me, I can run 3x machines for the same power consumption as one Intel processor with 3x the processing power.
Such a sweet deal on that 4090 PC Bryan! I agree that windows 11 is getting silly with the all add ons no one asked for. Copilot I'm looking at you.. Anyway looking at Linux for my side PC to get familiar maybe leave windows behind in the next year. Awesome conclusion to one of my favorite series from your channel. Cheers!
Third time is a charm. The third season of the $100 flip up challenge finally pays off.
It really is a buyers market in Aussie and I suspect most of the world due to the economy. Found this out the hard way trying to sell my own used hardware, some of which was in fact brand new and I simply never ended up using
2.2k usd for that?? that a steal..here in malaysia..thats spec will cost us double even on used market..aussie really the heaven of 2nd hand pc
Congratulations. Just a question when is your next live stream
That is some very nice country side. Well worth the trip :)
Awesome :)
Good job.
Steering wheel on the wrong side haha
Yeah- for some reason installing Windows 11 for people like us is just a nightmare.
I'm just gonna stick with installing windows 10 for as long as I can.
You can actually bypass the connect to the Internet and sign in to Microsoft part during the Windows 11 Installation
Hello :) I have an idea .. not sure how it's gonna work but you can make it work..
Intel Ark on x58 performance/ bottle neck / Nvidia or arc for old CPU.
Note : build CPU with avx support it's required for new games maybe the oldest avx support CPU for budget build ?
I guess the previous owner either is either pretty stacked or needed some cash ASAP, still congrats as the grind to get up to those 3k is not to be ignored, you could've easily got to 4/4.5k.
now that's lucky af!
that 4090 gives me so much anxiety
better support the outmost corner if you don't want a cracked PCB
i just did a build with a amd x5900 cpu gigabyte unify x570 motherboard corsair vengeance 32 gb ram samsung 980 pro 2 tb m.2 ssd and a nvidia 1030 video card installed windows 11. but i did a advanced install and turned off all the extra stuff windows wants to install like ad trackers ect ect and windows 11 installed from a usb in less then 15 minutes. no lag issues with computer. now i did a small video card because my mother likes to play old games from the 386 and 486 days so a nvidia 1030 is plenty big enough for her games. but main reason i am posting is do a advanced install on windows 11 and when it reboots you will come to a screen and turn off everything it asks you to install. its all of microsofts bloat ware crap.
If I'd have done that and sold a power supply I wasn't 100% happy about as soon as I came across another better one in a flip I would have replaced it. For the same piece of mind that you replaced the Wi-fi adapter. I'm not criticising you for what you did sometimes you have to and you may have corrected it as well? Personally it would have niggled me until I was happy and you're offering that person a bit of customer service. I can't remember if you came across some from Les for instance? You Critique video will be interesting. 🙂
a 4090 with 5600 ram and a prime board? That company really cheaped out on this build lol.
Windows installation is a time sink, we need to make gaming on Linux a reality.
I am constantly amazed at what your market will bear for used PC. No way a system like that would sell anywhere close to that price in Atlanta. These folk be CHEAP! Oh and hey...quit driving on the wrong side mate....
I def want you to do another season asap. This one was way too short!
I only buy Intel Wi-Fi. Mediatek for whatever reason has huge issues with Wi-Fi, which is strange because they make good chips for their phones in terms of Wi-Fi and 5G.
The driving footage gives me mild anxiety, because I keep thinking you're on the wrong side of the road. CZcams needs a region-based screen flip. :P
You should be able to flip your pc display setting.
