Minecraft has a lot of insanely talented CZcamsrs who specialize in building, redstone or automation, and PvP or combat. Today we’re gonna dive into the field of building to find some of Minecraft’s most legendary and iconic building CZcamsrs! We’ll be talking about Minecrafters like Grian or Smallishbeans, who have been on SMPs like Hermitcraft, Empires SMP, or X Life! Who is your favorite Minecraft builder??? Let me know in the comments!

Wish you mentioned Bdoubleo100 one of the best Minecraft builder hands down,dude innovates on building in the most bold and confident ways and it all works, he could make the walls out of raw diorite and floor out of dirt and make it work (he already did this in a build) and one of the only minecrafters I KNOW that actually makes their redstone pretty, grian (one of the top builders on hc) has actually credited Bdubs to being a better builder.
agree with. He has really developed into a pro when it comes to his builds. and he is easily top 3 of all buildsers on hermitcraft.

For real, almost everyone on this list has said bdoubs is a better builder or credited him in some way. Therefore he NEEDs to be in this list.

I love Bdubs, and yeah I think if I were to redo this list I’d definitely add him. I think the original reason why I put him as honorable mention instead of on the list is because I wanted to get a variety of people from different areas, I didn’t want it to be just Hermitcraft, but yeah I’d probably add Bdubs anyway if I were to redo this video. I may do a part 2 in the future to cover some of the other builders who rank as legendary as the builders I mentioned here
I’m just gonna list some more amazing builders: MythicalSausage (his empire is huge and he just builds like crazy) Pearlescentmoon (also from hermitcraft and empires she builds really amazing organic looking structures and the way she builds doors is inspirational) and Geminitay (also hermitcraft and empires, she’s also really good at explaining builds while she’s making them)

Pearl’s doors are so inspirational. not even the smartest red stoner knows how to open them only Pearl and Oli know how
Pearl’s season 9 base is one of the best builds I’ve seen in a while

- ZombieCleo started the Season 6 Civil War when she passed off Iskall's prank on False to Rendog (who was innocent)
- Impulse started the Season 9 Rentheking war when he misinterpreted Grumbot's content: 'Remove' 'King' 'Claim' as removing his claim to the throne - I know Grian rigged the messages but all he wanted was Ren's claims on the shops to be removed
- The only war Grian legitimately started was the Season 7 Turf War
@@spicytacomc1647 Grian helped with the False revenge prank on Rendog he pranked nearly all of his friends multiple times and had a mini war with Rendog and started making alliances with Stress and Iskall. He also robbed Doc and Ren's bank which was probably the biggest player in it all. He was more part of it than that one time Cleo did something. It wasn't one prank that did it, it was multiple. He also started the Demise games which is considered by many to be another war, and the Hippie vs Area 77. Opon that he had a small corporate war with Concorp and Sahara. He started the Turf War and was a major player in the corporate wars with Big Eyes, The Octagon, and Boatem. If you count all of those, that is 6 wars. So... you're wrong.

Pearl literally designed most Grian's season 7 base as she was the lead of his design team before joining hermitcraft and grian also constantly mentions her for teaching him about gradients like not only in buildings but also in trees and a somewhat failed attempt in terraforming since grian still doesnt do it lmao
Pearl should 100% be higher not to say grian is bad however alot of the reason he is here is because of his fame as a "builder"(along with his skill) however Pearl is definitely worthy of being mentioned more

I never made or meant to make him out to be bad especially since I've been watching him since he was on Yandere High and I'm a huge fan of his, I merely wanted to use him as a reference to say that Pearl deserves to be on this list along side Grian!
My point is that one is not better then the other.

I honestly didn't know Pearl helped him out so much in Hermit Craft it's cool to see them working together since I've been a fan of both of them so that was cool to find out. so anyways my bad man miss communication on my part.

Bdoubleo100 is the best builder at the moment imo. He is a genius with the use of color grading and pioneers alot of new building techniques. Its a shame u didnt mention him.

Bdubs, scar and pearl are the probably the best technical builders in youtube rn, only separated by personal preference. Its so funny how the three of them consider the other two better lmao. Like scar saying that pearl and bdubs are the only ones who he thinks transcends builders and are artists. Bdubs constantly singing praises to scar and saying that pearl is the most creative person that he knows in a stream. And pearl saying that scar and bdubs are just on another level and people comparing her to them is funny

Truth. Only builders that are in the same stratosphere are Scar and maybe Pearl. Bdubs makes art in minecraft unlike anything that should even be possible.
Edited to add Trixy. He's in an entirely different category, because he builds in creative and with World Edit. But my goodness the things that man creates are both breathtaking and insane.
One really sweet thing about this video is that i've watched joel for YEARS, and definitley watched his transformation from your average goofing around/modded youtuber into a builder. There was a turning point a while ago, and his builds have just kept getting bigger and better. Hes always made great content but his technical skill has improved so much. I even remember an old Q&A from years back, where he said it would be his dream to play with grian, and here he is, collaborating on countless serries with him, and now i get to watch all this content of them together and just remeber that the joel of a few years back would be blown away by where he is now.
Of freaking course I watch Grian the most as he’s so funny and creative, but my favorite builder gotta be Joel. Forever will be.
I’ve watched at least a few episode of all of these creators. But whenever someone has the audacity to ask me who is “the best minecraft builder”. I know what my answer is. And that is BDoubleO100.
I genuinely think he’s a genius and I am comfortable saying with some decent confidence that he is the best minecraft builder I’ve ever come across.
Many creators like the ones you’ve mentioned here come to mind as ones I might pick for a top 5 or top 10. But if I have to single out one person. I don’t think I could pick anyone other than BDubs.

I think bdubs and scar come in a very close tie.... But not just for building they have a gift where everything they touch comes to life more beautiful than the last. I also believe pearl is tied as well and if not a very close second because terraforming is a hard thing to get right especially the way she does it. Her abillitys to build living structure like dragons... Back in season six grian mentioned he had to watch his friend pearls tutorial to figure out how to build a dragon.. they all have great personality and talent therefore they all deserve to be on top and that is my opinion...
@@guineapiggirl3103 The reason I chose BDubs over Scar and Pearl, who I must admit were also in my mind having similar styles, was his ability to use details in the lived in parts of his builds. I mean just watch his latest Hermitcraft video. It exemplifies that perfectly. His mastery of details and interior decor many builders leave behind is why I’d put him above Scar and Pearl. It is perhaps arguable that in terms of exterior decorating and terraforming those three are about equal. But in this other aspect of building, BDubs takes the cake.
@@gardenshed6043 I perfectly respect every reason you choose bdubs he's great at everything he does.. I just like multiple other content creators as well... being a builder myself by watching others build it helps me get better so i like to watch many different people build.
Grian mentioned once Scar and Bdubs as best builders on hermitcraft. This was in s7, during his world tour. I do believe Bdubs is missing on your list (possibly higher than some of your selection, if you had to remove someone... but please keep all and just add bdubs 😊 to represent hermitcraft).
Also bdubs is by far the interior king
As much as I adore Lizzie, she’s probably one of my favourite CZcamsrs there’s so many other outstanding builders that could’ve easily taken her place

Agreed, although she is a great builder she has never marketed herself as a "builder" and has always been a all round good player, her level is probably on pare with most other empires players and BdoubleO100 or PearlescentMoon could have definetly taken her place. (Maybe she was just there to give empire's SMP more representation?)
With how talented Lizzie and Joel are at building I thought that they met online through one of the SMPs. But no, they met by chance at a gaming event before either of them had blown up on CZcams and bonded over Call Of Duty and not Minecraft. It's weird how crazy talented people meet like that before their rise to fame.
Let’s be honest, Empires and Hermitcraft members are probably some of the best builders
Personally, I think the top 3 most talented builders of hermitcraft are (in no order) Bdubs, Pearl, and Scar.

lets just put scars ability like this. scar was already so big before he got added to HC X was getting absolutely SPAMMED with messages during his streams and in his comments sections of people asking when scar was going to be added to HC... Just sayin scar was already a HUGE inspiration to so many people and Scar alone had a HUGE impact on the HC server and community as a whole

Joel is my favortie MCYT. Hes super funny and I love his building style. He deserves more recitation
Hot take: I think Grian is an okay builder. He's creative, funny and smart, but it's people like Bdouble100 and Mythical Sausage who are really pushing into new frontiers.
Also, I think AndyisYoda deserves an honourable mention for basically inventing the 5x5 modular system.
To me scar and bdubs are the most unique, bdubs can create anything beautiful with creative techniques and undesirable blocks, while scar imbues even the smallest of builds with whimsy and an almost magical nature, that to me is so impressive. He’s like a big child in the best way possible.
Pearl and Scar I think personally are the 2 best at telling a story with their builds. Lots of people make amazing mega builds, but Pearl and Scar just know how to breathe that little bit of life into it
Bdubs is definitely another Top tier builder in MC. His eyes for details are almost unmatched.
Wish you put MythicalSausage on the list. He truly is the best medieval builder of all time.

Fun facts about Grian: he is a co-owner of a *huge* Minecraft MMORPG called Wyncraft and he is the inventor, yes *inventor* of TNT run, one Minecraft's biggest mini games. I know these aren't about building but it's still cool

Iskall also has a big dedication for making a huge tree on HC season 7.

Considering that bdubds sets the most standards for modern building, inventing new styles and techniques, he is defenitily one of the most influentuel builders ever
The one thing that always amazes me about Jeracraft is the sheer scale of his builds. I mean, even the throne room he built in Kingdoms of Greymane was freaking 200 blocks tall and he had to build a freaking mountain range to accommodate it underground.
I am so glad you included TrixyBlox! He and Steph are some of my favorites and there work on the USW is legendary! Truly one of the greatest Minecraft projects of all time! They totally deserve more love and recognition ❤
One thing you forgot to mention about Fwhip is his absolutely massive single player survival world that had hundreds of episodes. That stuff got me into building so long ago

Definitely an excellently made video, surprised how or why you're this underrated.
While yes Lizzie is a talented CZcamsr and I personally love her work, I wouldn’t really put her on this list. Her builds are amazing but I feel like there are other CZcamsrs who are not quite better but more committed to building like MythicalSausage (as you mentioned) because (I’m using Sausage as an example here) Sausage is able to make so many different styles work, he details everything and is able to create story in his builds, this is something not everyone can do. Sausage is definitely known for his builds, as Fwhip and Gem said (can’t remember exact video or which one of them said it) “all you need to do it’s search something up and add Minecraft build and a MythicalSausage tutorial will appear” these are not the exact words but they basically said Sausage has a tutorial for everything. Bdubs is also an amazing builder who could have easily taken Lizzie’s spot (no offence Lizzie) his builds are incredible and he can make any combination of blocks work and look amazing.
Thank you for mentioning jeracraft. He was the first Minecraft CZcamsr I subscribed too and he also taught me how to build. Love that guy!
Scar is my absolute favourite. He is the first CZcamsr I’ve ever watched, I was about seven when I discovered him. When I was 14 I became chronically ill, which impacted me a lot and still does, but watching his videos and his optimism and creativity whilst struggling with illnesses far worse than mine, it gave me hope in dark times :) such a great guy.

Keralis is possibly the most slept on hermit crafter or youtuber in general dudes a genius when it comes to building and the Swedish commentary is just like the cherry on top
I would really put Philza on a list of good Minecraft builders. Like fWhip, he does a lot of builds in Minecraft Hardcore and also tends to add lore into his builds. He's extremely creative and a very good builder. If you have never seen a build of his before, I would highly recommend checking out some of his later videos in his season 2 Hardcore world or his current season 4 Hardcore videos/streams. He's a good man with chill vibes and insane talent at building.
Empires and hermit craft are just perfect examples for amazing builders and red stone

shovel241 and other people in that community are also incredible (but a lot of them are smaller youtubers and don't really do smp stuff so I understand why you didn't know them). and yeah as other people have mentioned, bdubs (with his colour palettes especially standing out) is incredible.
I personally think pearl deserves her place on this list. Looking at her season 9 base, some could say she’s surpassed scar in terms of terraforming. Mogswamp is also great for his superflat world, knowing how to make great out of so little. He didn’t even have every kind of wood up until not that long ago.
Well Mobswamp is good but he lacks some skill. As far as I know he gets a lot of help by the bakery building team which are one the best builders the minecraft community ever seen

I think another honorable mention should be Mogswamp !! He's done some pretty crazy builds on his single player super flat world !!

You missed one. Avomance. He is a great content creator and builder also. And was a Legacy SMP member. He' become a better builder since then. Great video though I like these types of videos. Showing the world Minecraft is a game you love or hate. I love it.
Someone who don't think is that well known is Mogswamp. He has an LP Superflat World that is only a couple of months younger than Etho's SP LP world. And has just started a Superflat SMP with some other Minecraft YT and Twitch personalities.
They are all fine and dandy but i also enjoy the builds of an unmentioned youtuber andyisyoda he really had me at khadjar city

Bdubz and keralis is proberbly the best combo,
Bdubz is the more fantasy/medieval orientated builder while Keralis is the modern builder
I would say Bdoubleo100 is at this moment the number one builder I know. His builds in his new solo-series are one of the most impressive builds I have ever seen. I litterarely said "incredible" a couple of times when I watched his videos.
fWhip is also extremely good, but he speedruns impressive builds. That goes too fast for me.

@@canofsouls282 I'd argue that point by how diverse of a builder he is, honestly I find him far better than Trixyblox but Scar is probably as good as Shovel if he played on creative, but with all of Shovel's tools he can use on creative, he can build at his top level and builds (in my opinion) still far better than Scar

Grian is a great builder, and an elite-tier youtuber and Hermit. But I'd I'd take BDubs, Scar, Pearl, Sausage, and Trixy over him as builders. BDubs and Scar in particular are just insane, elite stratosphere builders.
Also, not hating, cuz it's smart... but Grian and Keralis both have their own build teams. Heck, Keralis straight up copies builds from other people on his server onto HCraft (he does give credit, which is good). Again, not hating, because I'm sure it's a ton of work to constantly churn out content and builds. I don't know if Bdubbs, Scar, Pearl, Sausage or Trixy have build teams, but I can't seem to find anything that indicates they do.
