Why did you calculate the self-weight?
ETABS considers the self-weight of the structure by itself.
I think this is not correct.
Bro... I'm a beginner to ETabs & this video helps to know basic knowledge of it...
And at 7:30 min you didn't select the column bar reinforcement "Fe550"... You've chosen someother.
But actually that has to be "Fe550" only know.
Please clarify.

I have a problem with my etabs 18 version. Under the design toolbar when I click the concrete frame design the rebar selection rules for column and beam are missing. What to do?

I am a beginner in Etab. Through the other you tube video I understand that in etab , the self weight of beam,column & slab is not need to calculate and assigned. Software will calculate automatically. But here in you have calculated and assigned. What is correct method?
Hi in case of STAAD pro it will directly take loads were in case of ETABS or sap we need to assign individual loads
Yes sukanta you are correct
If in 'load pattern' for the dead load you have taken self-weight multiplier as 1 then self-weight is automatically taken in Etabs. You don't need to add any load.
But only if you change the self-weight multiplier to 0 then you have to calculate the self-weight and assign the load

No need to add self weight & dead load...etab consider it automatically..

In Wind loads you designed as Class B structure. As per IS 875-Part 3 your model of the structure comes under class A

Detailing was included in software till 2016version. Above version don't have detailing inbuilt in software u need to download etabs detailing software seperately
Good effort but modeling is not a art, the dimensions and placing of member at appropriate place with actual dimensions is more important .
@5.36 you provided 300 MM depth and 400 MM width for a beam that's no sense to designer.
Don't mind but you are definitely providing a excellent information for beginners so proper guidance is also important for them.
What should be the dimensions of beam instead?

Etabs took selfweight by their own. Y you applied selfweight additionally.

Lots of mistakes in your vedio. No need to give self weight, etabs consider itself. Second though ur assuming the size of beam, no way the depth of beam can be smaller than width of time.
