As a common-sewer of Scandinavian black metal I was surprised to hear these guys were Yanks! They have a good Norwegian feel to them -ie, Satyricon's "Now Diabolic" and the Immortal side-project "Between Two Worlds" (both 2006)...

I was pumped when the record came a week early but now I can listen to this at work! "Where the Horrors Thrive" is a fucking incredible closing track.
If you listen to this and don't enjoy it you need help great job!

This is sooooo good! This will be on my Top 10 albums list of 2019 for sure! Such a great mixture of Black Metal and Classic and Gothic rock. It reminds me so much of Tribulation without being a copy cat. Great job, Cloak!

Definitely America's answer to Tribulation (newer). Another great release for sure. Plus, the two, Trib and Cloak fill that Dissection void (albeit a lot slower). Horns!
