The stars have arrived and they are ready to WERK. JoJo Siwa and her mom, Jess, set out to create the next superstar pop group, XOMG POP, but will these superstars have what it takes? (Season 1 Episode 1).
Synopsis: Jess Siwa, mom and manager to multi-talented worldwide pop sensation JoJo Siwa, is teaming up with her daughter, in Siwas Dance Pop Revolution, the ultimate reality competition series in which young talent, who also happen to be major JoJo Siwa fans, will compete for a coveted role in XOMG Pop, a brand-new pop group that will be managed by Jess. Eleven tweens will participate in a series of performances and challenges, while JoJo serves as choreographer and mentor. As part of the grand prize, the newly crowned pop group will serve as an opening act for JoJo.

I’m a preschool teacher so I hear a lot about JoJo Siwa. Upon looking her up, I realized two things. 1) She can be a bit overwhelming or maybe even “annoying”. And 2) she has always been very respectful of everyone she has come across and seems to be unapologetically herself.
I admittedly was biased against her then realized that I was mistaken and that is actually a great influence.
The "annoying" is mostly because of her contract with Nickelodeon

Imagine getting embarrassed in front of everyone for hosting Master class to having your own show where you’re finding talent. Sounds like a Master at work to me.
I so hope they avoid the meanness that was Dance Mom's. I know a lot of that was Abby, and drama makes a show interesting, but I'm just not interested in watching another grown woman make children cry, over and over.
Jojo and her mom seem to be kind, and Jojo specifically is all about uplifting others, I just hope they don't try to make this a Dance Mom's 2.0. I have a feeling this is gonna be a much better show!
I watched episode one and I can say they were being very nice to the kids. However yeah I agree and I hope they keep treating them nicely
I can give some assurance that they are in fact treating them nicely and keeping focus on the positivity and making sure that they are not stressed out. From what I saw, they were insanely happy and just stoked to be doing what they are. They've put in some serious work and it shows. I stoked for future episodes

JoJo must be the first artist worldwide famous that is so genuinely nice with a big heart and her foot on the ground! Humble and loving; she’s amazing; and it’s noticed the way she was raised by such an amazing mum!

So you watch enough of it that you can come in the comments and justhate on it
Hopefully they won't be all loud and mean spirited (both hosts and "moms" alike) and drama queens like in Dance Moms (or at least were pretending to be)
