Here in Brazil, every internet and telephone company used that car. The legend comes cause the employees always had a lot of work so they drove much fast with the ladder on car roof. It was made until 2012, finishing only cause a legislation that forced all new cars to have airbag and ABS. The Kombi (I don't know how It is called in others countries), by the way already had water cooled engine (EA 111), it was had the production finished forced too, by the old project that much cost to put a airbag and abs.

This Uno sounded quite rough at idle, most of the times the vacuum pipe close to the distributor, or the distributor itself, might be the culprit.
