If you buy something that is built primarily for wealthier foreigners, there may not be a reasonable market for you when it comes to selling. 3- Rent and live in the region for an extended period of time or multiple shorter term re-entries to make sure it is where you want to have something permanent. 4- Hope the central bank doesn't mismanage the currency and generally be aware of the relative strength/weakness of the currency. Some such as the Colombian Peso are "commodity currencies" that can follow the price of oil and other commodities. I would suggest not converting to the local currency when it is near all-time strength vs USD and EUR.

Seems like an expensive round about away to go look for expensive international attorney in another country,who would then help u look for local people to manage your properties, when all u need is to get some trusted people in that country to help u look after and manage your properties overseas. The expensive attorney would likely cost u 10 to 100 times per hour more than the cost of the person, who will be directly helping u to look after your property, so u might as well look for that person who is going to look after your property yourself, and cut out that redundant expensive international attorney :)

His whole mantra is to find the...frankly let's be honest, the say ~6.667/10 and higher caliber candidates from cheap cheap nations , and offer them salaries laughable relative to the US/West and that's how he minimizes his bottom line. I love his channel and understand that that's the "model"v for business optimization nowadays. But let's be real; he's been quite vocal about "basically never hiring an American ever," even if such an American was well educated, ditch their loan burden in the US, has ZERO intention of returning back in the next ~2.5-5+ years, and is willing to work for "insultingly low pay" (solely from US/Western perspective) as long as the country in question is cheap to live in too. He's suggested that even then, he wouldn't choose an American because most frankly (paraphrasing here) "don't have the grit/life experience"true dedication" he has come to notice from his non-western workers. So tl;dr yes, you get a 6-8.5/10 property manager with just enough english not to screw it all up, but for like ~20-45% of the cost of property management salaries in even the cheaper parts of the West. Can I blame him? Objectively I can't.
