hey brittany, i love your tutorials so much! i just finished my first project following your beginner's crochet top video and it turned out so well! i was wondering what to make next then you posted this so I'll be looking forward to it :p
Just finished this bag ! And this was my first "big" crochet project ! Thank you so much for this tutorial and abslutly great explanations ! I just had a hard time finding where to do the single crochet for the border, but I guess it wil get better with practice ☺
i finally finished it!! took me 4 days but i did it 😭 i’m not used to the size of the yarn so it took me awhile, but it was so worth it! it’s so cute! although i think i made a mistake making the panels, one was shorter than the other so i made invisible decreases and thankfully it still turned out even. really grateful for your tutorials! 🤎 however, i just wanted to know if there’s a way i can add a button maybe? or something so the items inside are more secure. thank you for this nonetheless! 🤎
That’s awesome to hear! :) just off the top of my head, you could maybe make a loop at the top of one of the panels and then sew a button onto the other panel. the loop would wrap around the button to secure the bag a bit. I have another purse tutorial from about 2 years ago where I used a button, so you could check that out for some inspiration too :)
@@starlightslime605 yes! i struggled a bit with mine because the stitches are so small, but i eventually got the hang of it. i was also a beginner when i made this :))
@@brittanyalicecrochet or mayve you could do a tutorial to create a laptop bag? Thank u so much. I haven't started my first crochet project yet, but I am looking forward to follow your tutorial because you made it so clear and beautiful.
With the type of yarn and hook size that I used, the strap is strong and doesn't stretch. But I don't put too much in it, only my phone, wallet, and keys so keep that in mind
hii i have a question do we need a darning needle can we use the crochet hook or some other alternative cause i dont have a darning needle and i wanna start crocheting
This was a scrap project, so I’m not 100% sure how much I used but I think it may have been a little over 1 skein of the yarn I used which was 150yds/50g. So maybe around 60g! I’m sorry, it’s just a guess though hopefully it helps a bit :)
@@brittanyalicecrochet oh, it’s alright! i actually only have around 50g more or less of the color i’m making but it is a bit thicker so hopefully it’s enough because it’s sold out from the store i bought it from lol. thank you very much! i appreciate it :)
I especially like it when you explain everything so nicely. I wish you a lot of success with the channel and happy life.
Thank you so much! I wish the same to you as well :)

That’s awesome! Yeah, it takes some practice to perfect borders :)
Muy clásica, muy bella!!! Me encanta el punto también. Gracias
Absolutely amazing tutorial, thanks for sharing, love it a lot, it’s already on to make list 👌👌💕Hasumati from London ❤️🙏🏻❤️

hi there! would i be able to make this in under 2 weeks as i have never crocheted something?

Amei o tutorial!! Mesmo não falando inglês 100% entendi perfeitamente
I Loved the tutorial!! Even not speaking English 100% understood perfectly
i'm so glad it was helpful for you! :)
So cute! I might make one soon :))
Thank you!
your voice is so relaxing! i love your videos
thank you so much!
I will try it💛💙
i love it
Thank you!
This looks so cute!!Any tips if I have thinner yarn?I always end up doing more rounds because it turns out too small:/
I would love to make this! but I was wondering if I could use chunky yarn for this!?😅🙂
Hello, can you make a crochet bucket hat? Your tutorial is so easy to follow. 💗
That’s a great idea :)
Omggg, you are back!!! 🐇💘💘
yes! ^_^
I wonder though if i could use this pattern to make myself a laptop bag? I mean i could adjust the number of stiches right?
Yes, you could measure out the size of your laptop and use that measurement to adjust the number of stitches. A laptop bag is a good idea!

Hi, may I know the first panel border would be 34sts+4sts at the side and 50sts on the long side is it?
Can someone please explain how I know from the panel and the strap what's the inside or what's the outside??
i am also wondering this!
i did a chain of 50 like you said and whenever i finished it was to small. what’s a good size chain that i should be doing?
Hi, may I ask that is the strap of the bag strong enough to not become loose easily or stretchy when I put things into the bag?

@@brittanyalicecrochet okay noted!! thank you so muchh for replying, love ur creations💗
hi! can we adjust the size by making the foundation chain longer?
yes!

Yep! You can also use the crochet hook to weave in your ends :)
Hello! How many gr did you used? :)

hi! i’m currently making this bag and i was just wondering how many grams of yarn you ended up using for the project? thanks!

@@44lover fingers crossed that it's enough! :)
@@44lover was it enough lol?
@@hijab.t.s13 for the panels and strap of the bag, yes. but i had to buy another one in a similar color to slip stitch the parts together.
Como se llama ese tipo de punto?
no entiendo, lo siento!
Linked double crochet, creo que es español es Punto alto enlazado
I made both panels without the border on accident what should I do 😭😭😭
You can always reattach the yarn and make the border that way!
@@brittanyalicecrochet I realised later that I wasn't even following this tutorial I got it mixed up with another video
Hello! I currently don't have anything but medium sized yarn, would the bag look bad with bigger yarn? Thank you!
It's all a matter of opinion, but I think it would look nice with a chunkier yarn as well :)
Can you tell me how many grams you used?
i'm not 100% sure because this is scrap yarn, but to be safe i would say about 50g!
@@brittanyalicecrochet oh.okay.Thank you
I do not understand 2:58 😭
its not helping that much for me like a Begginer bc you dont show that mich how to do it😢
