How to land a sailplane - Boulder, Co

This video was a demonstration to my student what a good landing looks like in a Schweitzer 2-33 sailplane at Boulder Municipal Airport in Colorado USA.

I've flown that approach, and that glider, more than a few times. Passenger didn't seem to happy.

Passenger doesn’t have any business being up there. He was blowing the guy off and acted like he didn’t care what he had to say or he couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time.

Try crossing the runway like that at our airfield and you would end up with 2000ft of winch cable wrapped around your glider. Funny old day at our club today. 75 gliders flying cross country dodging snow showers in April
