From what I can tell with got7 its largely older teens and younger adults. When I went to their concert there were a couple of young kids but not many, more older fans than young. I’d say most 16-30 but some older as well! They have a slightly older fanbase than some gen 3 groups because they’re kind of... dirty haha
in philippines more like 15-35 yrs old...mostly like older teens hahah
yup! i went to their concert 2 years ago when i was 20, and made two friends who were 21 and 22 at the time. we also made more friends outside the venue who were 16-18

I think what gets a lot of people is when we have the seterotypical view of 'boy bands' from american boy bands, nsync, back street boys, one direction, five seconds to summer, and the like had mostly teen girl fans. So when we look at Kpop I think it's almost natural for people to be like 'oh you have a bunch of teen girl fans', when that's not really the case at all.

the demographic for got7 is pretty much around their age so like 20s?
The reason why they do a lot of censoring isn't because their fans are underage (well part of the reason is because they are) but it really comes down to the fact that South Korean culture is strict with those sorts of things. Like very rarely will you ever see someone cursing or even mentioning sex in a tv show. So kpop groups are told to censor themselves for broadcasts and things like that. They are told to keep a very mature type of image. However, GOT7 doesn't completely follow that rule, as it's obvious by these sorts of videos.

Their audience is actually older than for example bts and blackpink they’re more like exo’s audience, they’re targeting young adults and adults not teenagers.
