    This was a rust free, barn find, Las Vegas car to start with. It was the perfect car to be turned into this now gorgeous pro touring style restoration. It’s got the goods: 383 stroker, built Th350, and 3.73 gears for the ultimate fun driving experience.
    EXTERIOR: The body consists of all rust free panels ensuring a solid, and laser straight car. It’s been painted a super slick Cortez silver with black SS stripes that are smooth to the touch. The metal flake is laid evenly and presents itself very nicely. Painted on gloss black stripes. Upgraded appearances include a front spoiler, rear high rise spoiler, SS cowl hood, sport mirrors and split bumpers. The glass is smoked and is all new. Upgraded LED taillights. The trim is polished nicely, and the chrome bumpers are new. It's got the perfect stance on polished aluminum US MAG wheels with Nitto 555R street tires. They are nice and wide in the rear for good looks and grip!
    INTERIOR: The upholstery is new; nothing beats a nice fresh interior. The door panels are clean and straight, the padded dash new and fresh. The dash face is clean and has been upgraded with retro style matching gauges, and a retro stereo. It is a heater delete. It has a very nice leather wrapped sport SS steering wheel. The bucket seats are reupholstered nicely, and in between them sits a new B&M Ratchet shifter. The carpet fits nicely, as well as the headliner.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Gorgeous show quality engine bay. 383 Stroker fitted with polished aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, billet distributor with HEI ignition and coated headers. The front of the motor has great looking billet polished alternator, pulleys, and brackets. The power steering and brakes are chrome. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator, electric fan, stainless hoses, and polished water pump. Dressed up with chrome radiator cover and billet fender supports. The metal is all painted real nice.
    TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid has been painted glossy, the jamb was repainted as well. New weather-stripping was installed. It has its solid original trunk floor that’s been re spatter painted.
    UNDERSIDE: Completely original floors that are dry and rust free! All new suspension. Full QA1 front suspension kit featuring tubular independent control arms with HD QA1 sway bar, and adjustable coil over shocks. New leaf springs and shocks in the rear were also installed. Upgraded 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors in front. Awesome sounding dual custom exhaust with Flo Pro mufflers and shorty tip exhaust ends. The motor looks fresh and has a high torque starter, large capacity finned aluminum pan and matching flywheel cover. It’s mated to a built TCI TH350 trans with a chrome plated pan. 10 bolt rear with 3.73 posi gears. The gas tank was restored and a nice polished aluminum cover was installed. All new brake lines, gas lines, and parking brakes were installed. The floors are original and have the original paint still! The front subframe has been prepped and painted the same color scheme as the inner fenders.
    Service: Through our shop inspection the following was completed. We adjusted and realigned belts and pulley system, installed new wiper motor and wiper blades, fixed wiring for interior lights and gauges, installed and hooked up new horns, repaired the turn signals to function and cancel, fixed headlight wiring/running lights, and installed anew glove box door.
    This is a nice example of an early second Gen Camaro. These continue to rise in price and popularity. You’ll love driving this one around, with the performance, comfort, and sound. You’ll know you made the right choice from all the heads this car will turn!

    I'm surprised Jay hasn't mentioned that the front end isn't a RS front, just a split bumper. The round RS running lights are not there....the horizontal parking lights are for the full bumper...

    Can't see the paint flaws in the video, but judging by what can be seen, this is a beautiful Camaro. In my opinion, this is the best-looking Camaro body style of them all.

    No AC / Heater is a bit of a letdown. If you're going to resto mod one do those two along with Power windows and a 700R. At least then you could cruise and bring up your mpg. Last but not least.....doing an FI might do well too.

  • @RCH45ACP
    @RCH45ACP Před 6 měsíci +1

    Another fake split bumper car, missing the front end protection that a real split bumper car would have because of the Endura grill surround the real ones have.

  • @michaelfercik3691
    @michaelfercik3691 Před 6 měsíci

    Wow, cracks in the roof above the divers door means this car was just slapped together with a cheap paint job showing with all the chipping that should not happened with a decent paint job. This car needs to be torn apart with acid dipping, then proper paneling spot welding with who knows how many panels need replacing. Anything over $15,000 would be a crime.

    Garbage. Using RS split bumpers with the standard header panel with parking lights below bumper is ABSURD. Then it doesn't even have the grill extender bezel and the 2 piece grill. Just put the correct full bumper on it. Plus, the RS has the parking lights next to the headlights and they are round. Gimmick to make people think they are getting the RS package.
