⛔ EDIT: WARNING! 5:06 Tourniquet is NOT suitable and DANGEROUS! ⛔
You need an official tourniquet (minimum 10€) or a WIDE band of cloth with a stronger object for tightening. If the tie is too thin (like my paracord) the tightening can hurt and make the bleeding worse.
Example: inFirst Aid training we used a kitchen towel and a wooden spoon. A wide, flexible belt can also be used as a bandage. On purchase : see "Tourniquet" (pharmacies rarely know about it, I can testify). Example: sanoetpharm.fr/hemorragies/32.... I sincerely apologize for this mistake. 🙏 I had not understood the interest of the tourniquet width during my training. Just goes to show, it's important to do it again regularly and ask questions!
