Logging on to FANS CPDLC | Pilatus Aircraft | Honeywell Aerospace

  • This video describes the process of logging on to an air traffic service center using FANS CPDLC on a Pilatus Aircraft.
    In this demonstration, we will discuss how datalink information can be accessed in the aircraft, what pilots must complete with air traffic service center before beginning CPDLC operations, where the login ID for CPDLC can be found on an en route chart, when pilots should initiate the log on, how to log on to an ATC center, how to confirm VHF or SATCOM communication has been established, how to verify flight information for a successful logon, how to send logon request, when an established CPDLC will occur, how to navigate air traffic center handoffs and more.
    This video described the process of logging onto an air traffic service center using FANS CPDLC. In the next video, we'll demonstrate how to send and receive CPDLC messages.
