- What would Terraria look like if it was 3D? In this video, we will be looking at a newly ported mod that turns your Terraria 3D! Well, sort of... it's more of 2.5D than 3D, but it still looks interesting nonetheless, it also kinda looks like Minecraft at times...

2.5D is a pathetic imitation of the fourth dimension.
I think that 2.5D is just a way for people to justify their laziness.
Instead of trying to create something complex and beautiful, people just settle for 2.5D.
But I know that the 2.5D is just a stopgap, and I am waiting for the day when people finally realize that AI can create the fourth dimension.

LOVE this format of video, it's short, straight to the point, informative, gives your own opinion, all in less than 2 minutes! very good! I'm not saying I only love short videos but for stuff like this it fits so much better than just talking 10 minutes about it saying alot of useless stuff in the meantime.

2.5D could look really great if you don’t go overboard with the depth and just make it a small change.

I would definitely play this mod more often if someone had a script that makes your camera follow the enemies direction (with a speedcap for motion sickness)

The mod makes terraria have a really cool art style that reminds me of some really good looking modern pixel art games like octopath traveler
octopath traveler is such a good game, i bought it recently on switch to play on my 14 hour flight not knowing what to expect and now i’m addicted

Me watching the metal on my 11 year old cheap-ass dell laptop begins glowing with blinding blue light after I try to run 2.5d terraria on it:
i did regular gameplay with this for a while but then i stopped bc it kept having bugs like for example you cant interact with stuff like draedon charging stations or power cell factories and also it looks weird during lightning flashes, and the ruler breaks if you move the cursor too far

I think it would be interesting if Terraria 2 was essentially something like this, it would still retain the 2d platform walking from left to right but it would introduce elements such as layers, so you can move from one to another, to make it feel as if it is 3d but really isn’t, I know they can pull it off, I’m just so curious to see how the next one will be like

Back in year 2015 a terraria content creator name H.E.R.O. who made a gameiki mod for terraria it was to make it into sandbox mode back then and he also made 2.5D version but sadly he graduated playing terraria due to health problem issues and never released it. RIP HERO channel one of my fave
