Solving Homogenous Linear Systems (Gaussian Elimination) | Linear Algebra Exercises

  • We solve two homogenous systems of linear equations. In a homogenous system, the constant terms are all zero and so the system is always consistent because there is always the trivial solution of all zeroes. We will use Gaussian elimination and Gauss-Jordan elimination to solve the two systems by converting them to row echelon and reduced row echelon form. We also mention the free variable theorem for homogenous systems. #linearalgebra
