I hope you guys see this because what really was amazing about this particular movie is that the guy with the Texan accent that was making the black and white "He soon realised" and "They stopped trying after season 2" jokes is in fact: Christopher Sabat himself, aka the real Funimation voice actor/director behind Vegeta, piccolo, shenron and many more. He used his alias: DJ Sexcidillionaire.

+Jordan Haugen No, Chris Sabat was the actual VA for the 2nd narrator. Sabat loves what TFS is doing and wouldn't mind going to guest star as a VA. He even appeared during one of their panels and dropped Piccolo's infamous line.

Yeah, 16 is a REAL android. 17 and 18 are technically cyborgs, Trunks even makes fun of that in the abridged series when he hears everyone call them androids. When Cell tries to absorb 16, he complains that 16 tastes like "pure metal", and 16 says "I am ANDROID 16." EDIT: Wrote 19 instead of 16.
The movie took place in a timeline where Cell never showed up, and the Z Fighters managed to defeat the Androids (presumably with the self-destruct button). Hence the reason Vegeta said "Pretty sure that's eight." (19, 20, 17, 18, 16, 13, 14, and 15. if Cell had appeared it would be nine.). Also, this is why in THIS timeline they had to destroy the sublab at the end, since they never knew about Cell so they had to go back to destroy Gero's computer.
Fun fact: Teen Gohan in that scene was voiced by Justin Briner, who also plays Deku from MHA and Cloud Strife in TFS’ Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged.
As far as SSJ goes, I've always seen it as the saiyans are conserving their energy during fights because going super saiyan and maintaining it for a long time takes an insane amount of concentration and ki. So it's not always a good idea to immediately go super saiyan. But that's just my assumption
@@tiffanywren9227 I think it’s stated somewhere in the guides or by the author that a higher form of SSJ doesn’t necessarily mean power consumption e.g. SS grade 4 is more refined and consumes less power even though it’s more powerful, same with SSJ2.
@@AsadKhan-ic9qi Yeah was about to say, the whole thing is that it takes a lot of stamina to maintain the forms, which is what made SSG4 so important since that state meant they were no longer losing stamina just to maintain their highest states of power

Btw, when Trunks said that he did that"videogame thing when i slice my oponent in half and they dont react " he was referencing Metal Gear Rising. Vegeta played that game in Renegade for Life, thats why he said that he "did it first" and Trunks said that "you dont even have a sword".

Trunks did it long before he did, but since he's managed to do it within a video game he is basically delusioning himself into thinking he's done it before Trunks and Trunks is just copying him or 'not special'
Im pretty sure he just said that thing, not video game thing, what he did is a age old trope of killing a guy and his topples/blows up/slices in pieces after a few seconds.
The reason Gero didn't make 13 perfect to begin with is because it would've been much harder to control him. by keeping the 3 separate he can manage them a lot easier.
DBZ is actually quite realistic with transformations, unless is like the first time they usually go instant, unlike animes like sailor moon where EVERY SINGLE TIME a 5min dance is required and the bad guys just look and let it happen. DB Super actually made fun of it by having 3 contestants in the power tournament do a dance like transformation only for 17 and Vegeta blast them and Goku complained he wanted to see them transform to which 17 says they let their guard down now they paid the price.
This was by far the best of the movies done. Other Then The Return Of Cooler. I think you laugh more watching calvins weird reactions then when you watch abridged without Eric and Calvin.

Jake Hamilton He modeled the androids fighting techniques on the Z Fighters moves ever since Goku was a child. He was able to record all of their battles up to the point when they left for Namek. I have no idea how 16 is so powerful though.

I remember on the Nicktoons airing of this movie, they edited the Crotch Punch. It's still there, but they trimmed several frames off so it's hard to tell what happened if you weren't anticipating it.

Doesn't each higher state of super Saiyan just force more energy through them and that's why Goku couldn't sustain SSJ3 during Buu saga?
