Your life can work for a small percentage of the population with the right education at the right place and time.
When it comes to Thailand, there are very few professions that you are actually allowed to obtain a work permit from the authorities, mostly English teacher, and a few other professions.
But yes, with the right education, you can work anywhere in the world online, and submit your work to the company you work for, but stick to the fact that this applies to a very small percentage of people, that just a fact.
Remember that such a company can replace you with another person, and they often do. They are young, they know that their parents will always help them.
The start of this video got me.. I'm in the exact same position mate, early 30s, bought a house in Manchester, 'decent' career... I'm moving out to Thailand in October and can't wait for the good life and some decent training. Glad you're a lot happier there than you was over here

Piques my interest with the idea of photography while traveling. It wouldn’t be a full time thing for me but if I could make some nice passive income with it why not
We walked an avg. of 25 miles or so a day mostly naked looking for food for like 1 million years, now we are couped up in a cave we are working a job we often hate for 30-40 years to pay off....it is F-ING INSANITY MATE!!!!! peace from Poland

Damn, I'm exactly 30, also habe a master's, and feel stuck in a corporate job, even though my job is the envy of a lot of my friends (high salary and gold benefits). You definitely made me want to move abroad even more.

They all say the same thing. They all live off the same thing. Anyone interested in the subject knows that you can't make a living off of it. It often turns out that it is their parents who give them the money. Young people want to teach you how to live and earn money, and then they go to their friends to borrow money, then they go back home to mom and dad.

It's a ponzi scheme. Everyone's selling courses telling you how to make money, very few make money using the methods they teach.
I am living in Thailand working online, it's possible, but you've got to work hard and add real value. I'm a programmer and work very hard, and solve tangible business problems.
Maybe 0.1% of people can make a living farting around taking pretty pictures for their IG.
But for the other 99.9% have to do a real job, solving real problems. Or sell some scammy courses like most of them do

@@cooliipie What you don't understand is just talk, the things he talks about are done by thousands of people, you can't live on that. Young people who don't have anything, when something bad happens (no money they go back to their mother's apartment)
@MonkeyClub Agreed, it is possible to travel the world working online. But you need to have a read value adding skill. Going on holiday and taking pictures hoping to grow a massive IG account is such a low probability strategy
