The Old Testament is as important as the New Testament.Ask these pastors about Bible Prophecy.Do these pastors negate predictive prophecy ie Daniel 9:24-27,Jeremiah 31:31-34,Isaiah 53,Psalm 22,110( Messianic Psalms) Why did Jesus begin at Moses and the prophets( Luke 24:27) I wish I was in the panel.

Its very misleading to say tithing is old testament,I urge pple to read the scriptures with revelation, Jesus said very well you do the heavier matters of the kingdom like faithfulness,being merciful to each other without leaving tithing,we can say its all grace,faith without actions is dead and its in the NT,and this kind of gospel is trying to show we as believers have no responsibility and its a lie!

Hebrews 7:8,incase of the priests tithe is collected by men who die,but the one whom is witnessed to be living receives it.(Abraham gave tithe out of faith ,as God had been with him during the slaughter of the king's,Abraham was never under law).

Pastor it's true coz I have done that gospel of the grace of God.Pastors intimidate congregation but you can give as Thanksgiving or as a way of worship coz of what God has done for you.Tithe would be divided into three equal parts.Actually it's not tithe but tithes meaning you give a tenth of Everything and I don't think anyone gives that.

@@kinyamusa4655 I love this, it's degenerating to bible study, the scripture you quoted in deut14:24 says clearly what to do with the Tithe if you can not get to the Priest. As I mentioned earlier, I don't consider Tithing from Torah but b4 the law. Personally I advocate for Circumcision Just like Jesus, Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter etc although it's not a Sin to be uncircumcised, however, it's highly recommended for health benefits.. Hehehe

That was voluntary. They were not commanded to tithe. Abram tithed only once in his lifetime with the spoils of war not his own wealth. Jacob promised to tithe but we do not know if he kept his promise. We do not read anywhere in the Bible where Jacob was teaching his 12 sons to tithe.
