I had butt length hair FOREVER I decided a few year’s ago to cut it right below my shoulders like a long bob & I love it. Definitely miss my long hair sometimes but I’ll never go back it’s easy to style and not just up in a bun 24/7. 💙the nails also !!!

I would also use a builder or extend gel to glue on the tips instead of glue and they stay put....I never use glue to put my tips on anymore, but you are right, using base coat to glue on the tips can sometimes cause them to pop off, I guess it's because a base coat is a thinner consistency than a builder or extend gel due to the fact that a builder gel is designed to be used to actually build a nail tip/ whole nail. So, it's pretty durable and is great for gluing on tips or full cover nails. I like to use the extend gel from Apres. And I absolutely love watching your videos, you're amazingly talented and I wish I was this great with polygel. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

i was always scared to cut my hair short too because i had an experience just like you where it was just wayy too short, but when i finally cut my hair again i loved it! i actually ended up keeping it short for awhile. Now its long again, but i'm kind of sick of it lol

I know I’m super late watching this video but first off I wanna say these nails look sooo beautiful wow 💕💕 second, I had long hair like to the bottom of my butt. I recently cut it for my birthday a couple months ago. It’s now sitting at the top of my shoulders and I couldn’t be any happier! In the past I would regret it but I haven’t regret it this time not one bit. Im in love! If you haven’t done it yet, this is your sign to do it lol.

Omg, feels like I had the same hair journey. My hair was and still is kinda thin and flat. It was the same length as yours when at 17 I decided to finally cut it. Since then I prefer it to be like mid back and it looks just waay more flattering imo. These nails look amazing, can’t wait to see the part two. Happy birthday 🎉

FIRST OF ALL YOU ARE SOOOO TALENTED!!! These nails are Soo beautiful!! And also, I had suuper long, straight hair and i can really relate to your situation, i decided to cut it pretty short, like right below my shoulders, and it was like best thing ive ever done. My hair felt way thicker and healthier, and i could curl it without it going straight 30mins after :,)

My hair was 3ft long and I just got it cut to mid-back length, and I also have fine thin hair. Cutting it will make it look alot healthier, fuller, and lighter! I say go for it! I know when your hair is very long and have invested so much time into it, then it feels like you're cutting off an arm or something, but it's totally worth it! Plus if your hair is color free, you can donate it to locks of love if you cut off 12 inches!

Hey! I’ve done the major chop like twice in my life and I never really regretted it like I went from mid back length to a buzz cut so not exactly the same but HEY! It’s hair it can always grow back you know? Worst thing is you don’t like it all the time and you can just buy wigs or style it in new ways and discover some new stuff. I also wanted to comment about your hair I also have thin super straight hair and my hair was just above my butt I cut it last year to a couple inches below my shoulders and I love it I’m finally able to style it more even though I still have really straight hair I’m able to do so much more with it, I hope you love it too and good luck!!
I cut 13 inches off of my hair and got a bob in 2020. I always keep my hair long for a couple of years and chop it off once the weight reduces the intensity of my waves. Hair grows so get that chop and get it styled in a way that's manageable and makes you happy. I got long curtain bangs :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! also cut your hair, I did it and I do not regret it also with your hair type you should dye it!! that would be so cool!!! I had hair as long as yours and my hair is naturally wavy/ curly so once I cut it my hair it livened up! it’s much much much more easy to manage and it was so healthy!!
