Morissette is one of the best out there right now in her genre. She's a huge star anywhere in Asia. She was winning singing competitions since she was a kid and has done TV shows in the Philippines. You will find a lot of Mori's CZcams videos with huge numbers are covers but she has some fantastic originals also. The culture in PH really embraces and nurtures singing and music, and the natural talent throughout the islands is amazing. A lot of performers with Filipino blood are in the industry like Olivia Rodrigo, Bruno Mars, and many more. Even Kirk Hammett from Metallica is half Filipino. I just saw the news that EZ Mil was signed by Eminem to his label and is up next.

Morissette Amon is known as Asia's phoenix... Her vocal range and control between registers is what stands out from the rest currently. Small details that she brings to each performance definitely makes her stand out from the rest. The idea that she's singing one of the harder songs sitting down speaks for itself.

I have a lot of respect for you who protects his family from all the songs with ratchet innuendos… a lot of them are not even innuendos, just plain trash & shouldn’t have been played for kids to get desensitized on. Morissette is simply one of the best singers in the world....... another is a beautiful South Korean lady called Sohyang. Sohyang's cover of Simon and Garfunkels 'Bridge of Troubled Water' is a good place to start as it's a recognisable song, but Sohyang's version is incredible!

For me the Rise Up performance on the Wish Bus was my second video of Morissette and really my introduction of this phenomenon singer. That was the video that convinced me she was the real deal. After reading comments that she was sick during this performance just makes it even more amazing! To be honest I love all her versions of Rise Up but this one has a special place in my ❤️
