Careful because the skid can melt cause it uses snow to cool also the last time I rode my arctic cat in the summer (I just sold it sadly) it messed up the carb somehow..
True sorry about your sled but it was cold on that day and my snowmobile engine has a powerful fan on the top so I thought I’d be fine for a little, hop skip and a jump
@@Ride_fov Oh its a 570 mountain cat? I thought it was the 600 liquid lol, u can ride fanners in really warm weather, I have a 570 bearcat but yeah ur sled will be fine and I hope you get snow soon!
If its a fan cooled motor then it'll be fine for short runs. Liquid cooled machines have a heat exchanger under the seat by the track thats cooled by the snow flicking up from the track. Also, if you squirt dish soap on the track sliders it'll lubricate it for short runs. Any high speed runs and you risk melting the sliders to the track. I'm in the same boat. Waiting for snow. None in Atlantic Canada yet.
